It sounds crazy but if they get promotion due to his goals then 10 mil is well worth it. He will score for fun at that level. Fulham are taking the piss a little bit though. It would be funny if they keep teasing Birmingham and then rejecting at the last minute. They should get promoted without him. It would be funny if they didn't get promoted because rather than investing more on the squad they spent the money on 1 player |

I'm not popular on here so I won't stay long but I will say, utterly ludicrous for a League One club. It actually makes a mockery and tbis is coming from someone who is broadly pro elements of FFP.
No Club in or Relegated to League One have ever done tbis before. Ipswich were heading that way but their backdrop was of austerity which can feed in, they had a Pre Tax Loss of £18mish in Promotion Season..
The funny thing is the Rules have been updated again this Summer,the EFL Handbook shows the updates to Championship P&S/FFP. Clubs entering the division from either end have to submit varied types of info to the League by 30th June, ie the 30th June as the new Season approaches. Interesting to see how Birmingham square that circle.
Birmingham lost Pre Tax-£25m and -£25m in 2021-22 and 2022-23, so no evidence of Austerity feeding in?
