I like him, but he does have a habit of parrying shots back out into dangerous areas. That said, Bocat should have cleared the second, and he’s realistically got no chance with the third.

Bachmann has always looked solid and reliable for Watford since he left us. Do sometimes wonder if we let keepers depart too soon.
To be fair he never had a great deal to do today but what he did have to do he dealt with comfortably..

Bachmann has always looked solid and reliable for Watford since he left us. Do sometimes wonder if we let keepers depart too soon. To be fair he never had a great deal to do today but what he did have to do he dealt with comfortably.. He left when we were still in the Premier League and had Butland and Grant so at the time it was the right decision as he was never going to get game time with us. Hindsight never loses. |

Its all well and good saying a keeper should be parrying shots away from danger, but sometimes they just have to get something on it and hope their defenders help them out. Today the first player to react on the first goal was a Watford player. Second goal should have been cleared by Bocat as for the 3rd im hearing it took a slight deflection, which could have made a massive difference. He looked solid last week so im not going to jump on his back straight away like much of our fickle fan base.

I'll repeat myself Johansson is the best keeper we have had since relegation For example Travers wasn't bad at all but Vik is better at every single aspect of goalkeeping He's a fantastic signing So he doesn't put a shame on Sweden.🥵 Relieved. |

His weakness seems (oddly) to be decisiveness when someone's crossing from the byline. It's like he's playing with an infant on the carpet in his living room, ambling around in slow motion. For everything else I think he's OK.

The defence in front of him was a shambles and should have blocked the shooter or cleared the ball. |

That's not the impression I get. But fair do's If you know otherwise. He's Watfords No.1, recently been offered and signed a new contract, 107 Apps for Watford and 14 apps for Austria seem to be suggest he's OK to me |
