Not bad for a keeper that's dodgy and too short according to some on here. He will have blinders that’s for sure and has personality. That’s where he scores over the keepers we’ve had recently. However just as Gibson doesn’t provide physically ( compare him to those man mountains the baggies had for instance) then so is Victor lacking in height . Ok Peter Fox wasn’t the biggest but a good keeper . But his height was nevertheless an issue . That he’s saved a penalty is brilliant as the one thing that always did my head in was watching Butland dive to his right . Perhaps he’s as good as Sorensen at saving penalties that would be a massive bonus . But it is an inescapable fact that his height will be exposed at times . Reduced synapse hopefully provide an equilibrium for the height, albeit he is over 6 ft anyway. |

Every phyisical attribute has pros and cons and it's whether the pros outweigh the cons. Smaller keepers are often more agile and make saves bigger keepers are too cumbersome to make. Take Casper Schmeichel - hardly a giant and one of the best keepers of his era. Same with CBs. Personally I'd take à CB who can read the game and make the right decisions rather than some giant oaf who can head a ball further than they can kick it. If for every lobbed goal conceded Victor makes 2 saves a taller keeper would not have made we're good. |

Unlucky with the penalty tonight.
It's just a shame that unlike Charlie Adam's infamous penno, there were three Hull players charging in to snap up the rebound while our players were deciding whether to run for it or not

Their goalkeeper would have made it to the balll before ours had even registered the penalty was given. It’s a nice habit to have though, saving penalties. Long may it continue. Hope he’s not come to stoke for a break after a couple of busy seasons. Because That ain’t happening. |

As good as he is, when he drops a bollock, he drops a big one. His attempt for Campbell’s goal was ridiculously poor considering how good he is. |
