My issue with him and I’ve said it after the Alkmaar game I think he’ll get chipped a lot, not just due to his height, it’s his positioning he is always off his line. I wonder if that is part of the plan though, coming out as a sweeper - did it a few times yesterday |

At fault for the first goal in the sense that he is too small to be a top keeper . As a result of his being too small he flapped at the cross and didn’t deal with it . The fact is Bonham would as he is several inches taller . Sad fact is Bonham is the best keeper we have on the books by a country mile That would be the Bonham who also comes out and completely misses crosses? Just checking.  Missed ONE against Swansea, hardly made a regular habit of it |

I wonder if that is part of the plan though, coming out as a sweeper - did it a few times yesterday It doesn’t help with the inept SS allowing the freedom of the pitch for opposition wide players to run unmarked with our FB’s nowhere to be seen. My take is that VJ looks so poor his positioning for both goals yesterday looked extremely poor, his reaction to the ball being cleared off the line you’d think we’d win the match. |

Having criticized him so far this season, fair play to him, that was a very good performance against Boro. Hopefully we see more of the same

Two of the saves last night he pushed into dangerous areas but not to one of their players.
I think they were good saves but then I thought the two vs Watford were as well.

Agree but I think he will have good and bad matches . Remains to be seen how many bad . For me he’s not a top keeper He's had one iffy game which still only had one mistake in it. Did really well last night, hopefully we've finally sorted the keeper problem for the long term. |

This lad has come in for some undue criticism just lately, but I’ll tell you now, he will be brilliant for us. Just needs a settled defence in front of him and a growing understanding of our general pattern of play and we will see the very best of Viktor

Had a good match today with quick reactions. May be blind, but I've never seen an issue with the guy. Last week, when you let EVERYBODY through midfield unchecked, goals will happen.

He was very good today, but their keeper had a blinder. Sharp wasn't he Million chances first half from Burger through ball,he made that really hard for Manhoef, another keeper and that's a goal |

He made a couple of difficult saves look absolutely simple and no fuss.
With Jack Butland in goal then Whittaker scores one of his shots today into the bottom left hand corner.
His anticipation made it look like a nothing save but that was a goal when it left his foot.

How fucking good is it having a keeper who doesn’t concede every shot on target. In previous years Plymouth would have made us pay when we lost momentum today.
a nice change from the Bonham and Butland Championship years
