Too many balls in the air regarding Cannon and too little time.
Time to move on.

I'm not sure if we are pinning all our hopes on Tom Cannon signing or if we are pinning our hopes on the friendship between SW and Huth. Very dangerous

Bet we get Cannon and I also bet he suffers the same fate of many Stoke strikers we have signed in the last 6 years (Gayle, Afobe, Vokes, Berahino, Delap). Secretaly I am hoping that Koumas or Mmaee might be the answer

The one signing we have made I really like. This cannon stuff just seems pie in the sky to me.

Why on earth would Liverpool need to recall a 19 year old left winger early from a season long loan designed to give the player some decent experience, they've got attacking players coming out of their arse.

Koumas is a good player. By Christmas I think he will be flying. My fear is he is then recalled. The one signing we have made I really like. This cannon stuff just seems pie in the sky to me. Why on earth would Liverpool need to recall a 19 year old left winger early from a season long loan designed to give the player some decent experience, they've got attacking players coming out of their arse. Yet they still insisted on a recall clause. Probably because the trend at the minute is for these type of young players to be sold abroad making them decent profits for PSR. So if he has a good run of form until Jan and has potential suitors, they'll want the option to recall him so they can sell him. I believe Bobby Clark is currently on his way to Salzburg from Liverpool for a decent fee. Or, if he's not getting the desired minutes here for whatever reason, they can recall him and send him elsewhere or for a bigger loan fee/chunk of his wages. Just how we've taken the likes of Norrington Davies, Harwood Bellis and Luke Cundle in recent years, mid loan.

Did the club wish Vidigal a happy birthday the other day? I must've missed it if they did 👀

Are we sure this Cannon guy isn't really a pellet gun? Hasn't played a lot lately.

Leicester step up Ayew bid … Sheff U favourites for Cannon
Leicester City are trying to thrash out a fee for Jordan Ayew with Crystal Palace.
And the Foxes will let Tom Cannon leave if they get their man - with Sheffield United favourites to land the forward.
Ayew has been on the Leicester radar for a couple of weeks and they are closing in on a deal worth around £6 million with extras.
If Ayew fancies the move - despite Saudi interest - Leicester boss Steve Cooper will put him straight into his side.
That will open the door for wanted man Cannon to leave and the Blades head the queue for his signature.
Stoke City are keen and could even offer cash to BUY the former Everton prospect. Middlesbrough are among others who fancy him.
But Blades see Cannon as a key part of Chris Wilder’s new look team and have a shot at promotion - which is attractive to the Leicester squad man.

Is it bad that i'll be kind of glad when Cannon and Stansfield end up elsewhere, hopefully sooner than later, so we can just fucking move on.

He walks straight in to our team ffs

We’re getting closer and closer to the most Stoke scenario ever where we sign Ross Stewart and he picks up a season ending injury on debut.

Wilder does play one up front, doesn't he?
Turning down the chance to be the 40-start No.9 to be a bit part player there (if it transpires?) is certainly a choice
