So this one seems to be the most developed of the striker links assuming Leicester actually bring 2 forwards in over the next fortnight?
If they don't, God knows?

Forget Cannon Get the dong out & get Stansfield Not sure which is the better player but Stansfield on a perm is way better than Cannon on loan.

So we've got ourselves into the position of cheering Leicester City signings, lovely.

Another circus show , young inexperienced players as main striker for us. He/the club has known this problem for 6 months or more and here we are again waiting for apples to drop. At the same time half of our permanent sigings are crocked before a ball is kicked

There is no way we should wait until the end of the window - if we get neither we are doomed.

I suspect Gallagher is the permanent one unfortunately. So we're probably relying on a Premier League loan for striker 2. So there's a very real chance we could end up with just Gallagher as our new striking option.

We will have Gallagher, Mmaee and new striker, that’s better than last year if we can the last one in

Took Vardy off and didn’t put Cannon on so he’s 3rd choice so once they sign someone else he will be loaned out

Playing a game of Russian Roulette if we let it go to the last day!!! Surely there's got to be other options if we can be bothered to do any homework???

Seems to me like he’s the number 1 target.
Better than stansfield if they’re both loans.
But if can buy stansfield surely he’s the better option.
Seems to me like cannon has given the go ahead, and just waiting for Leicester to get someone in.

Nixon... Probably not the takeaway I should have from this, but £10m for Jordan Ayew? The market for forwards is absolutely bonkers.

Pinning all our hopes on a player that started 3 games last season and may very well not end up being available anyway is a very dangerous game indeed. How long is it going to take for him to get up to speed as well, having virtually missed a whole season of football, even if he does end up here the chances are we're not going to see anything like his true self until at least the new year. By which point the season will be over and we'll probably be relying on him to score a few just to keep us away from the relegation scrap. It all feel very de ja vu. Personally I think it's time we move on from Stansfield and Cannon and go and find somebody who wants to be here and can actually make a difference long term.

Leicester will sign a striker, then someone beats us to the signing of Cannon, which could leave us in shit Street.
Questions need to be asked if we go into this season without a decent striker.
