Are Sheffield United the Championship version of Chelsea. They seem to be linked with just about anyone either available or rumoured to be. Same every year with relegated sides. We were rumored to be after everyone in the championship pool when we dropped. |

Rajovic and Ipswich lad in tomorrow. Under £2M for Rajovic and loan for Al Hamadi. I'd never heard of Rajovic until I read your post. The more I read up about him, the more excited I get. Seems like a very good player. He’s very tall. Those 2 would be excellent and give us good options. |

I just don’t see this one happening.
I’ve just got vibes that he’s hedging his bets which isn’t a great start.
It feels like we’re a last resort which is never a good thing.
We don’t want players who think they’re doing us a favour we want players who want to be here.

Strong possibility Leicester get relegated, if so makes sense for him to have Leicester as a option next year, Equally if I has a good season then a premier league move could be on next season for him. Makes sense But then again, Leicester could turn around and say you stay here if it’s not a cash move |

What is over the top? Obviously we shouldn't breach FFP to get him but other than that it's an investment call on a player. unless he's a disaster we have a CF moving forward beyond the end of the season. Over the top is whatever we can't afford, as we don't know for sure what we can afford I'll leave it to the club to hopefully not put us at risk now or in the near future. I wouldn’t expect or want them to do anything that had FFP consequences either in terms of being penalised or spending next seasons losses now gambling on changes to the regulations. I just think this window has been done very much on the cheap and think there should be a good chunk of money that can be spent without those consequences. As such I think they should be spending it on a CF just like I thought at the start of the window that they should reserve the bulk of the budget for a goalscoring CF. The only exciting attacking players we’ve signed are only loans. |

Whether it's a loan or a perm is splitting hairs at this stage - we need a proper onion bagger, full stop.
Get one and we could suddenly look very good going fwd.
At the fee bandied about, can we actually afford to 'FFP it' anyway?

There is a benefit to loaning and we have had success, but like others have said. We will lose or probably sell Junho, Million, Koumas and Moran in the summer. Add that to the other loans, and we are looking at another major rebuild. I think we need a perm for any striker coming in. |

Yes would have been great to have bagged a genuine 9 a month ago but ... we're knees deep in the chaos of deadline day here and if it is a choice of a permanent Ennis type or a loaned Cannon / Stansfield, I know what I'd do. |
