It’s pretty clear Cooper doesn’t want Cannon considering he said after the game on Monday night Vardy was the only striker at the club, even though. Cannon was on the bench!

This hasn't surprised me one bit. Bigfoot sightings now outnumbering those of legit strikers. Beginning to wonder if Bigfoot isn't easier to locate and can be trained as a striker? Every single club is on the hunt for them, either for display purposes or the PL clubs, who hoard them. A species that's been endangered for several years now, the few legitimate specimens left in the wild becoming harder to locate and capture. Lot's of "Imbulas" and other damaged goods diluting what's left of the herd. We may want to hire a consultant from National Geographic. Like it. Thinking outside the box. There's Yetis we could look at as well. Could go two up top. And Scandinavian type ETs.

Don't get the Cannon hype, at least Stansfield has proved himself in this division, just pay it Stoke. I don't buy Walters' speech one bit.

I don't buy Walters' speech one bit. during his loan he got 8 in 20 games at Preston who create a lot less than us is decent for a then 20 year old. Mmaee had 3 in 24 goals last season as a 25 year old. It’s a massive upgrade with loads of headroom to get better which is why I’m hoping we can loan with obligation to buy and worry about the cost next summer when likely bae or million will leave if they have a strong season.

Haha had to Google it. Literally means "goat sucker" ...so yeah makes sense... we're not high profile enough to get a GOAT, so goat sucker's next best thing. If we do find one in Mexico, I'm sure we've got a wild card left. Would need to be a very wild card mind.

But of course either would be amazing. Just hope can get either on a permanent and it’s a massive step forward.

Sounds daft but if he goes to a club where he’ll be benchwarming I wouldn’t want him. Surely that's back to front? He would be showing far more desire if he went to a club where he had to fight for his place rather than one where he knows he could coast into the first team. Moran said the other day he wants to fight for a place in the side, not have it written in his loan contract. If Cannon wants to come here because he's being promised first team football I wouldn't want him.

And then couldn't get in Leicester's team last season and obviously hasn't impressed Cooper so I'm not sure he's the one we should be holding out for perhaps letting other targets go elsewhere. I did like Rowett's point in his article that clubs like Stoke and Derby should look at players who had a good season two years ago and then didn't score many last year. A very good, interesting article on transfer windows and the problems of signing strikers in particular if you have time to read it: www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/gary-rowett-stoke-city-column-9503493
