Anyone know anything about him… Well he’s not an ex colleague of Walters. Or his ex manager. But I’m sure someone will soon find a reason to wet their knickers and go full on conspiracy theory.

www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lee-darnbrough/profil/trainer/28234He's had some contrasting styles of managers to recruit for there too. C20 years experience in Championship / Premier league isn't to be sniffed at. Also not afraid to use the foreign market, would be pleased with this if true. That after panicking Jared had gone...

Seems to have a decent CV at this level having been at Hull for a while prior to that Burnley and Norwich. Seems quite well respected
“Darnbrough, who has been with Hull since 2017, has previously spent time with West Bromwich Albion, Burnley and Norwich City and is seen as someone with a deep knowledge of the British transfer market. He is credited with helping Hull land exciting young talents like Reece Burke, Jordy de Wijs and Leonardo da Silva Lopes, while he was also the man to bring Tom Heaton and Michael Keane to Burnley, and his talent spotting and ability to broker deals has earned Darnbrough an impressive reputation within football. Lee Darnbrough brought Tom Heaton & Michael Keane to Burnley The former analyst has spent time working closely with both Tony Mowbray and Sean Dyche at his former clubs, and his ability to identify signings earned him a promotion to Norwich's head of scouting in 2015.”
I’d imagine having been at Hull he should already have developed a good database of players that have been scouted which is a big plus.

He has his top button undone and so does Walters usually. Hiring important members of staff just because of their fashion sense. This fucking club…

head of recruitment left , new one recruited , new keeper , resigned Steven’s and Thompson , safe standing , fan zone , Campbell gone , loan players gone back or Freed up , retained list issued and still a week to go in May .Still much more to come .

Definitely loves a sunbed. Is a narcissistic recruitment executive expert a bad thing? If he finds us the players to get us back to the Premier League he can wank himself to sleep looking at himself in a ceiling mirror as far as I’m concerned.

It's a huge relief that it isn't a manager's mate appointment, which was my biggest fear. Fingers crossed he does the business, as I thought Jared was starting to do a very good and understated job despite the criticism.
The transfers at Hull, pre Turkish Simon Cowell era seem very wasteful and patchy at best, from the 16/17 season that he has been there. Lots of expensive flops that ultimately saw them drop from the PL to League One.
<Klaxon> Norwich era was at the same time as Tricky and Neil, and the transfers there were largely expensive and garbage as we've previously discussed.
Prior to that he was an analyst, a number cruncher.
Let's hope this is the kick start to his career.
