Which is way overblown. I don't see anyone wanting to chuck Thompson out due to his "lack of discipline" (he's worse). Double standards. Also, you could see in the training vids when Schuey took over that BP was very eager to train (maybe too eager, hence the injuries?) and took time to explain stuff to the younger players. He's a good role model in my book, as he has a will to win (perhaps too much), something that's been sorely lacking in the squad for the last 10 years. I'd be very surprsed if he gets much game time from now on. As would I. In fact I hope he doesn't, because that would mean we've been pretty shit in midfield if we need ot change our DM.

Makes sense. You’d think we could have got him if we wanted him in the window (at least on loan) so why would these rumours come out as soon as the window is done that we’ll go after him in January?

Not sure i completely understand the logic given: "The plan is to develop 23-year-old Burger, 17-year-old Sidibe, 21-year-old Lawal and 18-year-old Smith, benefit from a year of highly-rated Moran, and let 26-year-old Seko settle in England." Only Moran (loan) Seko (?) play a similar role to Cundle right?

Fairly likely that's not true (i.e. we are interested in him) however would assume the issues is £££ between Stoke & Wolves as such makes absolute sense to let it be known inn public that we are not interested, standard negotiating tactic Doubt Wolves will fall for it but you still say 'no we are not interested' in the meantime even though we are

It's a shame for Cundle that he's not going to see much action this season, he's not going to develop as much if he's not playing regularly, at his age he needs to be on the pitch most weeks.
I'd like us to sign him if possible, although we probably don't need him until next summer. I think he'll be a top-quality player at Championship level; perhaps he can be a regular in the Premier League one day, but he's going to struggle to break into the Wolves team anytime soon, and nobody is paying 4m for him in the current market, 1.5m perhaps 2m would probably be fair. It'll be a real shame if he ends up with no first-team action this season.

He wants to play with two 10’s and we only have one I’m getting seriously fucking bored of this. He doesn’t want to play with 2 10s. The manager himself said He wants to play 2 8s bojan was a 10 Lampard/Ballack were 8s. It’s a very different role and type of player. I can’t believe anyone thinks Cundle is a 10 or played as one would tbh. He started way deeper than a 10 would and got forward from there.

Forget the numbers hes a left channel attacking midfielder and Moran the same on the right He was just an 8 really. His first games for us he was almost a second striker and it’s when he looked awful. He dropped him deeper and allowed Jon to play facing goal and not with his back to it and that’s when he got better. Why it took so long to figure that out after coaching him for months prior is anyone’s guess.

Absolutely, Schuey has recruited him twice already and will definitely want him. It will all be about accomodating him though.
