Another supporter classic of a player who we would really really struggle to replace with better , we’ve still to replace Campbell yet and replacing Laurent who be another big hill we dont need right now . They were two critical players in our end of season uptick , I trust the club leadership but this supporter I’ll drive him myself is nonsense . |

It really isn’t the case. 5 goals and 5 assists in his last 70 games is mediocre and his defensive contribution is poor, rarely tracks his man. Every team in the division has 1 or 2 better players so plenty out there. And with one year left he is like a loanee and we have 5 to use, don’t need a permanent deal, no brainer. |

Is he suggesting something is imminent? Didn’t the same person suggest this in the last window as well? Laurent then went on to play many of the games in the second half of the season. I think Fras is pretty reliable. I think this will be a big charismatic character gone from the changing room, seems a really lovely guy, but his consistency of performance just hasn't been there for whatever reason. Would be happy if he stays but equally if we need to free up some midfield slots for the likes of Cundle, then that makes more sense with Schueys plans, and he goes with my best wishes for the future |

Looks to me that the pally clique of Laurent and Campbell is one the manager didn't like. They might be nice people but we need winners in the dressing room.

Seems an odd choice...and can't quite believe Sivasspor would stump up any cash for Laurent, knowing how legendarily tight fisted the Turkish clubs are but you never know |

Had some really good games, but his speed of thought at times was way too slow for the tempo of play Schuey wants to play at..

I think his leaving is a blessing. His captaincy didn't seem like the right choice, and his body language and application weren't great. His stats back this up. There is an opportunity for better. |

I'm not sure there is a gap that's being mentioned. If baker stays he can do a similar job and if it means more minutes for sidibe then great.

We’ve accepted a fee, I wonder whether Josh will accept the offer? Wasn’t he interested in going to Italy last summer, perhaps he fancies a move abroad and his agent has been sounding teams out?
He’s not half as bad as many make out and he’s obviously a well liked player around the squad. But it’s probably the right time to move on for both parties. Be interesting to see if he goes abroad or stays in England.
On the positive side, if we have accepted an offer we hopefully have someone else lined up. It will be nice to freshen it up in the midfield.
