Thought he was an honest, hardworking player .
But , would have be happy to let him go and re invest the money in the snidey hard working BTA or similar.
To just sell him and not re invest the money, doesn't appear to be a winning plan .

Don't let's forget Brown wasn't actually very good. And yet we're worse without him. I can't work it out. There are plenty of examples of players who were seen as shit who we looked worse when they went. Mama and Whelan spring to mind. Mama and especially Whelan were a different level to Brown, even if some of the knuckle draggers on here couldn't see it. |

I know some remember players as better than they were but Brown we do miss but this clown would probably consider bring him on two minutes after the game has finished

AN said he wants a pressing game, and with our defence that seems a very good idea...now all we need are players who can do it. Not many of the newbies have show much of a stomach for it thus far...which is why we DO miss Jacob Brown.
Get everyone fit and firing I might change my mind, but to date I ain't seen enough to convince me

However, for all the shit he got, we miss a water carrier and he's playing, if only for a season in the Premier league. He was picked by successive managers. Other players who some on here have demanded to be played have gone on to do the square root of nothing. |

They hadn't even kicked a ball in anger in the premier league when he signed!!! If it makes you feel any better, I'll put it differently..... He was wanted by a previous championship club, just gone up into the Premier League..... Bit like Olofinjana with us!!! Better now you've had your snickers bar??? 😏 Give it a rest you pipe. I think Barkley has been a revelation there though. Showing something of the player people thought he was going to be. |

I don’t think the Brown one is all that hard to figure. He’s a technically limited player but did well for us thanks to his other attributes, specifically athleticism and tenacity. He’s now playing in a Luton side that isn’t technically gifted by Prem standards but are trying to make themselves competitive through athleticism and tenacity. It’s a good fit for him. |

Goodness knows how many signings we’ve made from Summer 2018 to date, but not many have been on an upward curve since. *****Good job we had Collins and Souttar from FFP perspective! |

Still don't know what DWP and Sidibe did to fade into oblivion as well either. The disappearance / decline of DWP is a surprise. A couple of goals in the bag too. I guess AN didn’t want to introduce Sidibe when things started going wrong? |

i haven't checked but at the end of this season I wouldn't be surprised if he has scored more goals in a season than anyone else here in the last 5 years. Sad,really. He also has 2 goals in the Premier league ,which is 2 more than any of our present squad will ever manage.

Doesn’t change the fact that he’s a poor footballer and if he was still here we’d be in the exact same position, needing much better, as we were during his entire time at the club. How anyone could have watched him during his time here and now suddenly be thinking he’d be the answer is beyond me. Move on, we need a lot better than him if we’re to get anywhere in this league. |
