Jacob would have finished the season top scorer for us had he stayed.
Puts in the hard miles and wasn't as physically fragile as several of the new lot seem to be.

Yeh Brown was great with the ball at his feet and holding it up... Compared to Wesley yeah he absolutely was…… 🤣🤣 You can’t be serious?

Leris has already taken over the role of Boxer in the camp. In October 2025 we’ll be worrying that our new signing from Accrington Stanley isn’t up to to the job of replacing Leris.

Compared to Wesley yeah he absolutely was…… 🤣🤣 You can’t be serious? Wesley has been utterly hopeless to date. Any great hold up play we've seen from him (minimal) is then followed by him being absolutely nowhere near the box when the ball's played in.

Brown was often the one who scored the big goals (not always pretty, but by hook or by crook)
Massively missed on that right side so far

I have to be honest here…not watching Jacob brown is one of the very few positives I can find about watching Stoke City right now.

Have to be honest getting rid of one of main sources of goals was always going to be risky
Appreciate we got a decent profit on him

I for one liked him and do think we miss him though but if we spent 5 plus million on him I'd want a better return.

Wesley has been utterly woeful in all aspects of his play since he joined us. His link up play, finishing, work rate and hold up play have all been bottom drawer stuff. Meanwhile, Jacob Brown who you don't consider to be a footballer plies his trade in the Premier league and we look worse without him. However much you look down your nose at hard work, we don't half miss it when it's gone

Not a chance he’s coming back to the Potters.

Not really. There’s a reason he was wanted by a Premier League team. He was wanted by a championship club going up into the Premier League..... Bit like Olofinjana with us!!! Luton are/were a Premier League team when they signed him. Fact.

FACT.... 🤣 Oh, you mean because the new fixtures for the premier league had come out.... THAT fact!!! They hadn't even kicked a ball in anger in the premier league when he signed!!! If it makes you feel any better, I'll put it differently..... He was wanted by a previous championship club, just gone up into the Premier League..... Bit like Olofinjana with us!!! Better now you've had your snickers bar??? 😏

If I was an opposition defender, I’d definitely prefer to face Wesley than Brown (and not just because I’m unfit and not very mobile).

Jesus, I hope we can somehow convince a decent striker to come here in January, so people can let go of Jacob Brown once and for all!!! 🙄 He was part of the woeful teams when he was here, and he'd be part of a woeful team now, if he still was here!!!

Is he better than Vidigal and Haks? Definitely not? is he better than Maaee? Almost certainly not. Are our attacking options with those three plus Campbell, Wesley, Tegel and Bae better than last season? Absolutely. Our problem is not selling Jacob Brown, it is injuries which mean we haven't had close to our best team on the pitch. Brown was woeful on Saturday, the header he missed the low point

There are plenty of examples of players who were seen as shit who we looked worse when they went. Mama and Whelan spring to mind.
