Yet to show any upside at Luton. You could argue that for any of the Luton players up to now Luton will be a very strong side in the championship next season. They knew they had next to no chance of staying up so I think they recruited with next season in mind. |

The fella probably couldn’t sign for Luton quickly enough. He got nothing but stick from plenty of our ‘fans’ whilst here. That'll be Wilmot, Laurent, Thompson, Gayle, Wesley, Bonham and no doubt more in the next coming weeks scrambling for the exit door then!!! |

I'd say Leris is nowhere near as good on the ball as Jacob Brown and that is saying something. Leris is miles better technically than Brown but he's nowhere near the athlete. Brown wouldn't have been capable of executing that finish Leris did with his wrong foot but he was generally a decent instinctive finisher and all round nuisance to opposition defensive. |

That finish was brilliant yes but half the time he looks clumsy on the ball and doesn't look like he has a clue what to do with it. |

(other than Vidigal ofc who is class!) We miss Brown a lot. Our pressing without Brown and Smallbone just doesn't work. We simply don't have the legs to put teams under sustained pressure. We have signed some good technical players but we need someone to coach them into a team. Sadly AN does not look like he knows how to do it. |

Has it come to this ? He was hopeless for the most part. Unless you’ve got a team of players that play into the “running around” philosophy, having one bone head doing it, and giving away daft fouls all the time, isn’t helping anyone.

What a fucking ridiculous rule. A team has to go down to 9 men because 2 players CLEARLY have head injuries that need attention. The rules of the game seriously need looking at I see where you’re coming from but you can imagine if it meant a stoppage in play you’d have teams faking it when the other team has built up a head of steam and the stadium is rocking. No matter what rules are put in place, cheating or gamesmanship or whatever you want to call it has become the norm in football these days. It’s expected and even applauded. So I’ve got a lot of sympathy for the officials - trying to get a bunch of grown men throwing themselves to the ground / faking injuries etc etc all day long. It’s the players and managers that need to take a look at themselves first and foremost Temporary subs. |

I agree, and also think Brown is a mid level championship player as a wide forward. But he’s still streets ahead of Lowe, Wesley, and Gayle and equal if not better than Campbell when it comes to playing as a main striker and scoring goals. |

I was always a critic of Brown and was never convinced he’d be part of a successful championship forward line. However he’s absolutely miles ahead of Wesley in terms of goal threat. |
