Wonder if this is Hoever-related? www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-celtic-transfer-bosun-lawal-9473612"He trained with us yesterday and was due to be in the squad but we were told in the morning that the deal was closer. If it does get confirmed we wish him well because Mehdi is a great lad and he's done well for us. We wouldn't want to stand in his way." Stoke will only sanction the exit if they are happy with their plan for a replacement. Leris was a right winger by choice but had been playing at right-back through pre-season. Schumacher said: "Absolutely. We wouldn't be risking that if we didn't have someone lined up or we were working on something and we've got a plan. If he does go, can we fill those positions... which we feel as though we can. It's ongoing." It's what I'm starting to think.

His stats for a 25 year old seem, erm... shit. Sadly his stats continued bang on form

I wish him the best of luck and remember the awayday scenes at Boro. Hope he does well, seems a likeable lad

Hoever at present, would be an upgrade on both Leris and Junior, I also think Million enjoys playing with him, as they seem to link really well.

Still can’t believe we’re getting actual money for him. Well yeah because your values of players are based on your opinion of them, when in the real world, the value is based on actual things such as previous transfer value, contract length, experience, international experience, etc

So this is excellent.

So this is excellent. In the real world, something is worth whatever someone is prepared to pay, whether that be a house, a car or a footballer.

Good luck to the lad, really hard worker and made a positive contribution last season.
Largely indifferent to him leaving though, would have been nice to have him around the place but he was never going to be a regular starter.

Seemed like a good pro that tried really hard, but unfortunately he didn't fit into the system we play or had the qualities to be in our first 11. Glad we have got our money back, at least it seems so.

www.lanazione.it/pisa/cronaca/inzaghi-pronto-al-debutto-in-coppa-frosinone-e-un-bel-banco-di-prova-fb8445e1Tomorrow afternoon (at 6 pm) the Coppa Italia challenge will take place at the Benito Stirpe and Inzaghi has introduced the match. Leris, Lind, Hojholt and Esteves are certainly absent. The first three, despite having already signed and having been in the city for a couple of days, must first wait for the international transfer. "They will be there against Spezia, we will have them available from Tuesday", clarifies the coach.

Fantastic header of the ball if nothing else. That's one thing we will miss cos our forward line are incapable of winning a header.

Their local press now saying 1m euros - 3m did seem a bit optimistic! www.lanazione.it/pisa/cronaca/lind-litalia-fa-bene-ai-danesi-speriamo-riporti-il-pisa-in-serie-a-d1887ad4In addition to Lind, Leris will also be in town to carry out medical visits. There is also important news about the player. Pisa will buy him out for a million euros, managing to secure, in recent days, a more advantageous agreement with Stoke City, who initially wanted three million. Between clauses and bonuses the company managed to spend much less than expected. He will join Pisa until 2027. Wow quite disappointing after all their reports of a fee over €3M. It’s still perfectly acceptable for a player we had little use for who’s never going to hold down any position. There were no reports of a 3 million fee. It was a 3 million package.

Nice one if the numbers spoken of are true. I’ve read somewhere the undisclosed fees thing we see now is following some sort of civil case where a club alleged the publishing of how much it bought or sold a player weakened their negotiating stance for future sales and purchases. Makes sense I suppose and I guess there would be no harm in publishing figures 12 months on.
