No he shouldn't. He looks a great prospect but don't get carried away and don't jump at the opportunity to use him as a stick to beat another player with. I get what Tommy is saying, Laurent is on borrowed time and Sidibe has looked excellent so far. He has not looked out of place and looked excellent for a 16 year old but that is not the same as looking excellent as a first teamer and worthy of a week in week out starting place. |

At 16 the responsibility is not on him to nail a place, if he can get on the bench and play 10 minutes here and there in first team games he's well ahead of schedule
Not giving very young-sters too much too soon is responsible management

Should be playing in front of Laurent at the moment. It would send a message to the club captain but I don’t blame Laurent, just not sure he’s capable of the standard we are aspiring to. No he shouldn't. He looks a great prospect but don't get carried away and don't jump at the opportunity to use him as a stick to beat another player with. I’m not getting carried away, Laurent has been poor and Sidibe has looked quality every time he has stepped foot on the pitch. On merit, he should be playing over Laurent and would be if he was 5 years old. Edit: it could well be Sidibe eventually has a few poor games and Laurent comes back in, and at 16 he’ll be all the better for that experience 👍🏻 |

Laurent is very good when he’s motivated. He rarely puts himself about. When he does make the runs forward, makes the effort to track back, he’s so effective and he stands out. He just doesn’t do it all that much. As for Sidibe, if he gets a few starts this season and is on the bench for 25-50% of the games, he’ll have had an exceptional year. He’s not even allowed to drive yet 😂 |

Was good to see that he got his first U-17 cap last night. I'm sure it was fantastic for the young man. Seems a fine young man and hope he continues to grow with Stoke!!

Played for the U18s vs Liverpool the other week, didn't stand out as much as I thought he would have but we were outplayed all over the pitch. A season playing regularly for the 21s and a few first team cameos late on is more than a good enough season at 16/17.

As the saying goes if they're good enough they're old enough. He should be getting some involvement with the matchday squad if they rate him in the medium term. It'll only speed up and assist his development having a bit of that exposure. |

Well the midfield definitely needs shaking up. Johnson, Pearson and Burger are all replaceable. We need to try something different. The current midfield does not defend very well and slows down our attack.
