And he can play every role in that midfield of Schumachers too. He’s not just some sitter. He can do it all. I really don’t get why people don’t think he should be a pretty regular starter this season. It’s insane. I think he is what we are missing in midfield to hold and create stuff. Dont know about this Lawal or Seko guy. So yeah I think he will be the main man soon enough. Lets agree on October when we have tried all other alternatives!! Why try alternatives? 🤣🤷♂️ None of this is logical. We have a gem. Just bloody use him before he leaves for better things. |

Well Sidibe’s sub appearance today was superb.
But we still have to take our time with him .
At 17 he is still growing and we know about growing pains kids are susceptible to when undergoing physical effort.
Pretty exciting player though and you do feel we have to get to the Premier to keep him long term.
I am trying not to go over the top with the lad but it’s just what I feel I am seeing from him.

I totally agree on that. I dont know how good Lawal is BUT his positioning is already more intelligent than Burger. He really changed that game for us today - yes he got the assist to Manhoef for the winner but thats not the main point. He totally made Plymouth ineffective playing through the middle. And he can play every role in that midfield of Schumachers too. He’s not just some sitter. He can do it all. I think everyone agreed he is looking good and needs more time, the differences are the rate at which he is integrated. He's 17 and still very young, we need make sure expectations placed on him are realistic and managed well. but he did himself a lot of favor's on todays performance. We have the players that if he has a bad game or two he can be dropped down to the bench or we can bring on to mix it up. It’s an absolutely ideal scenario. I was genuinely shocked he didn’t start today. |

He's going to be top drawer, reminds me of Mainoo as he keeps it simple but is always looking to go forward
He's still young, his time will come but with him, Dixon, Tezgel we have some excellent players coming through

Again- didn’t look at all out of place when he came on. Should’ve come on earlier as felt Mmaee offered little and there were time they played through midfield too easily- albeit though Burger did his best to keep them at bay.

I would have started him over Baker or Laurent so pleased they have gone as he will now get a good look in this season

Giggs was too and had a long career. Dele Ali. A one size fitz hall approach to young players doesn’t work. Yes if they’re good enough they’re old enough - just don’t burn them out. |

If you saw the game you'd have seen we started very well, dominated everywhere for the opening 30 minutes or so. Plymouth came into the game and pushed us deeper for 30 minutes or so but the midfield and defence were well organised and didn't give too much away. Sidibe came on and did a great job pushing us forward He's a unique talent being used very wisely. He's a very good player, have a bit of patience, he will play an important role this season. |

Schumacher has named the youngest league side in the club's history today, but you're not satisfied because he hasn't thrown a 17 year old boy from the start as well. Well he did have the bollocks to throw that 17 year old on at 0-0 with 25 minutes to go and he was rewarded with Sol giving the assist for our winning goal. Just let the manager get on with it. It's a difficult job handling and nurturing young talent, but he seems to be doing a really decent job of it at the moment. |
