Interesting trend, isn't it ? We sell Collins to Burnley and they promptly get relegated. We sell Harry to Leicester and it looks like....... And neither can get in the team. And neither would have a problem getting in ours.....

Stoke fans all over tbh. How any Stoke fan can knock the lad for wanting to play in the Prem and progress is beyond me. Was quality during his pre-injury for us! He really was. And he was brilliant at the WC too. For me in the current market, he went for exactly what I would have valued him at and credit to the club for it. Lots of argument over whether he can play in a back three or four. The WC showed he's capable in a four, but the middle of a three allows him better to showcase his ability to play out from the back. I'm sure he'll be a success at Leicester if they get the right manager in. I think there are 2 parts to the issue. Firstly, as other players have said, for the first few months after returning from such a severe injury you run on adrenalin before the reality bites, the little niggles kick in and you struggle for a period. A summer break and a good pre-season should solve that issue. The other is that when I have watched Harry play for Leicester he and his partner(s) at the back are not on the same page. When the opposition get possession Harry is a drop back type of central defender whereas his partner(s) seem to be step up defenders, so he ended up playing the opposition onside with no support. I seem to recall Ryan Shawcross saying he had a similar problem when a manager (can't remember which one) brought in new defenders where Ryan would automatically drop back and the new defender would step up and the manager just basically shrugged his shoulders and told them to sort it out between themselves. If Leicester get a decent defensive coach to sort out the defensive style and communication Harry will be fine.

If Leicester get a decent defensive coach to sort out the defensive style and communication Harry will be fine. Isn’t that his fault? If the other 3/4 are stepping up then he should too. From what I’ve seen they’ve played a ridiculously high line and a simple ball over the top has exposed him. That is daft from the manager. I don’t get why you’d want to sign him if you play with such a high line.

Hopefully none of the money we received was dependent on them staying in the Prem. Football Manager is only a game granted, but they reckon we'll lose out on a couple of million if the foxes go down

No Maddison, no Bsrnes so the Geordies can't see what they'll be getting next year...
Probably the right decision but being cheeky Dean Smith must hate Leicester

From Skys lineups it looks like he is in midfield I think they've got it wrong, he'll be in a back three with Castagne and Thomas as wing backs.

I must say im surprised/not surprised by the level of smugness on here with how Souttars premier league career has gone. A young footballer who was good for us, that we sold at an excellent price for once and from what I can tell a likeable bloke.

Sit deep and counter probably. Makes sense. It’s how they should have been playing all season instead of ridiculously high line. Souttar in particular isn’t that type of defender. They’ll probably get rinsed now

Doubt it as I would expect he will get sold on and remain in the Premier League. If he can’t get in a shit Leicester defence why would you think he’d remain in the Premier league? Yes... he will be a key player for them next season if they go down.

Tonight Matthew, I'm going to be a Leicester fan.
Let's get Leeds and Everton relegated.
Can't see a win tonight though. Plucky draw and a last day win v west ham to keep them in the hunt..

He was a very good player for us, never let us down and did what all professional players do, moved on when the chance for a bigger and potentially richer future presented itself. He didn't agitate for a move, he was sold because the club wanted to sell him for their own reasons. WE bought him from another club, that happens in football. I only wish the lad the very best in future, choose who he plays for except when/if he plays against Stoke City.

Back in the starting XI and Man of the Match. Playing to his strengths. Sit deeper than deep and don’t allow space around him. Does a point help them?

Had they lost Everton could have sat in and played for a draw which is a Dyche wet dream. Now the pressure is on Everton to get 3 points without their main attacking threat. Logic suggests all 3 teams should win this weekend, but an early goal for either Leicester or Leeds could cause Everton to panic. A win might and probably won’t be enough, but it’s incorrect to say it doesn’t help.

I thought Leicester`s tactics last night were shameful. Two touches in the oppositions penalty area and one solitary effort on goal in injury time. They deserve to go down with such negative play. They had enough quality on the pitch to have played with more attacking intent than that.

They've been on the beach since they secured safety. Lost their last three. I would prefer Everton to come down for novelty value but I just can't see it.
