If they get relegated, I'd put a cheeky bid in to buy him back, maybe 3 million less than they paid. Don't see it working out for him there, the fans have already not taken to him.

Interesting trend,isn't it ?
We sell Collins to Burnley and they promptly get relegated.
We sell Harry to Leicester and it looks like.......

Bit disappointing to see a few gloating about this one. Never thought we were into that as a fanbase. Souttar had a great world cup and Leicester fans are bunch of entitled muppets, so if they're slagging him off, it doesn't surprise me. The fact they don't like him is probably more endearing to Souttar for me.
Leicester are going down because they spent fuck all during the summer and sold a couple of really good players. One player doesn't make a team and especially one who signed months into the season.
No issues with the lad. Tried to make an upward step. Should have gone somewhere else, let's be honest.

Signing players off the back of a World Cup has always been stupid though. He’s been dogshit for them which is no surprise with how they’ve played him, his injury and that no one could be quite sure if he was ever good enough for that level. Who else wanted him? It was Leicester or bust (for both him and the club) wasn’t it?

Great post. Furthermore Harry is more than capable of making a career in the Prem, he’s a top player with years ahead of him.

Absolutely nothing suggested they were in for him and bidding to the level we needed? Plenty to suggest the first bit but nothing to suggest the second Would assume various pl clubs preferred to wait to see him prove his fitness till end of the season

Stoke fans all over tbh. How any Stoke fan can knock the lad for wanting to play in the Prem and progress is beyond me. Was quality during his pre-injury for us!

And he was brilliant at the WC too. For me in the current market, he went for exactly what I would have valued him at and credit to the club for it. Lots of argument over whether he can play in a back three or four. The WC showed he's capable in a four, but the middle of a three allows him better to showcase his ability to play out from the back. I'm sure he'll be a success at Leicester if they get the right manager in.

Absolutely he had every reason to make the move. No-one can begrudge him that. I just never thought he was that good. For once, SCFC were the muggers and not the mugged.

Leicester are far worse without him in the team, it's very strange what smith has done, with that squad the situation was very retrievable. When Souttar first came in they had their best few results.

Slow and clumsy He's not top 4/title contending standard which is why he's come up short for United. And he was overpriced. But he's easily Premier League quality and has generally been excellent for England over the years. Upper mid table standard, Leicester was his level. But undoubtedly Premier League quality.

Yes it becomes far too easy to judge a player by their price tag. Its's not his fault United spent big on him. Remove the price tag and he is a decent, if not outstanding Prem centre back.
