Do I want people to receive life saving operations? Of course I do but that doesn't then mean I should be prepared to have them carried out on my kitchen table. Unfortunately in some parts of the world they have to, we're incredibly lucky. I know a butchers in Newcastle where they used to lay dead bodies out on their block, sometimes it's a case of circumstances dictating. That maybe, however it's got absolutely bugger all to do with the point in my post but you already knew that ... |

I think the point here is that you're allowed to agree with a broad point without someone forcing you to literally live through it. For example, you may think in principle that it's good for the area that it has three football league teams - Stoke City, Port Vale, and Crewe Alexandra. That doesn't mean you then have to be forced to buy season tickets for all three of them to prove the principle you've agreed with. |
