There’s a lot of left leaning people in the UK. That’s their go to publication. They love the Guardian because it tells them what they want to hear. You only have to see the links on here to see that it’s a source that they like to quote. It’s always the same posters that use it because it talks there language so to them it’s always going to tell the truth. You only have to read this article to see how blinkered and slanted their views are amp.theguardian.com/world/2022/sep/16/first-edition-chris-kaba-met-policeDoesn’t age very well does it? They’re always going to tell a story from a very left wing perspective. If they’re independent and level in their views then I’m the pope. I wouldn’t take much notice of Ofcom when you look at some of the stuff they let the Beeb push out. So because you don't like what OfCom let the BBC (and let's not forget GBeebies in this 😉) transmit, the independent poll of the general public they carried out is null and void? 🤔 Brilliant 😂 Thanks

Or was it something else?

Male charged www.bbc.com/news/articles/c2l9pjp9gwvo.ampWhat causes a man of 66 to go around a market randomly stabbing people. RIP to the male 77 who lost his life. There really needs to be tougher sentences around carrying a knife.

Take a bow Sadiq Khan. Proving once more what a wonderful mayor he is and why he is serving his third term. His flagship policy of free school meals for all primary state school children is a resounding success. It is what politics should be about. Equalising opportunities regardless of the advantages or disadvantages you may or may not have been born with through no fault of your own. www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2024/nov/20/children-free-school-meals-mayor-familiesThe key part for me is: "Education is supposed to be the great leveller in society. Children sit in the same classroom, learn from the same teacher and read the same books. But school feels very different when your family cannot afford to feed you. Your earliest memories are of disconnection, that you are less. And it lasts. The cynic will say universal provision is a middle class handout, but go into a school lunch hall in London and you will witness children of all backgrounds engaged in a shared experience, with every child now feeling they belong, because exclusion has given way to equality." Surely not even the most rabid Khan haters on here can disagree with that!?

It’s a shame he falls short on so many other things (no pun intended).

It is a good one and it is right.

Definitely one for the "Visit England" Instagram page 🧟 Embaressing isn’t it. Though I’m sure there’s a twist that can be put on it. I don't understand why you feel it's embarassing? It's just a bunch of people smiling and having fun, no malice, no aggression, maybe a bit lit but nobody's harming anyone. I'm sure Pink Princess posted it as a light hearted positive, amongst all the current doom and gloom.

Got to be Oggy in the beige slacks surely 🕺 Definitely one for the "Visit England" Instagram page 🧟 It's funny some people will look at a scene/picture like a Van Gogh, a Lowry or even a Banksy and each will elicit a different emotion I look at this vid and I see some happy people listening to some music and others spontaneously joining in to dance. What a terrible depiction of English people as you say to portray to the World Much better if they were engaged in some punch up or even if blades became involved as I understand happens in Croydon At the end of the vid one reveller extolls the merits of yaba, it's a choice like alcohol, as our friend Ely will attest to, whom I'm sure has seen it's consumption on Walking Street in Pattaya Why does the way other people choose to live their lives trigger others so much, so long as they're not frightening the horses?
