Not sure where in London it is but the only thing that will destroy the beautiful city is politics and religion and that’s from both sides. I doubt there’s many people that visit the great city is to see march’s and protests. They want to see all that’s good about it not culture wars. |

In relation to the tourist side there is no match to London though there’s nothing new there as it’s always been the best with all it’s history and wonderful landmarks / great shopping streets and restaurants. Add to that the pomp and pageantry that you get with the royal weddings and coronations. Funnily enough I’m travelling in tomorrow to spend some time in and around the Regent’s park area. If you wander along the canal towards Camden there's some great spots for a cheeky joint 😉 |

The lack of any real consequences both in School and in the law where strong lines can be drawn is also a big issue. |

What I find puzzling is that of the 1,000 Cities London ranks 2nd overall only behind New York. When you consider 3 of the 5 categories measured are Governance, Quality of Life and Environment the others being Economics and Human Capital. This is mystifying because from reading this thread I understood London to be Governed by a Mayor who is being controlled by Islamists and who imposes harsh Environmental laws on a deeply unhappy population. |
