Playing a significant(can't remember how many exactly) number of games was a prerequisite of the stats that Tachyon provided, they were from all championship games not just last season. His saves to shots ratio is truly horrendous in the bottom 5% of about 200 championship keepers. Stats might not completely represent events but they're never that bloody out.I like his distribution and kicking a lot and wouldn't be happy with a good shot stopper who was line bound and has poor distribution and kicking like the Scots lad we're linked with but Bursik needs to get massively better at keeping the ball out of the net if he's going to make it at this level or higher. He played 19 games this season and was in and out. I'd be amazed if he got more than 7 or 8 on the trot. He played 15 games in his first Champ season. I get stats but for Bursik they hold no relevance as he has not played consistently enough for them to count. There are some good keepers in the u21 group and he's still got the gloves so some people eminently more knowledgeable about keeping than you and tachyon and whoever else think he is okay. Of course the stats are relevant. He lets in shots on goal that 95% of championship keepers don't. I don't think that is tenable so he either needs to improve his shot stopping fairly rapidly or he won't be between our sticks quite rightly so. I don't care whether he's the best U21 keeper in England or even the world if he's worse than 95% of championship keepers at keeping the ball out of the net, that's not slightly below average to put it bluntly it's shit.

Trains total shambles Connecting trains from Liverpool to Wigan / Preston all off Driven to preston .. for train that should get in at 1018. .. that’s turned into a bus replacement coach!! Journey time unknown .. other trains likely to be cancelled / bus replacement / no service or May run WTF Currently waiting for a mate & will drive Where there’s a will there’s a way , but Im puddled Well got there and back , ( the ‘how’ I was getting there might have been in doubt , but never the ‘ if ‘ ) for those seeking train refunds , I can only write from my own experience…your route to a refund will depend on where you bought your tickets and iIf you abandoned your journey or went but were delayed I booked via Avanti west coast web site ( including importantly my connecting Liverpool to Preston using northern train ) I say importantly because on top of the well publicised issues my connecting line to the west coast mainline was blocked due to a broken down train ..meaning no doubt further down the line Avanti will be able to claim against someone else ..meaning they were more likely to refund me Remember if you use the auto refund route via the web site you will be charged a £10 admin fee ..however if you abandoned your journey due to disruption , different rules apply and you shouldn’t be charged an admin fee I was sent a journey survey email yesterday, when I filled out I didn’t travel due to travel disruption I received the following link , I recvd a different survey today and that didn’t seem to give me the chance to put journey abandoned avantiwestcoast.service-now.com/help_and_contact?id=knowledge_article&sys_kb_id=e7731b641b0105544ee26468b04bcb89completed the form , recvd an email back , from a human with script saying use website refund etc ( and lose £10 admin fee) replied to human that I wanted a full refund as prescribed above ..in full as return not used as I couldn’t get there , received a further email from same human ( ie not system generated ) asking if I wished them to manually process and if so to attach a picture of my tickets cut in half with scissors ( to prove unusable ) did as requested Have since recvd human & system generated emails to say full refund done & should be back in account in 5-10 working days email address to which my communication went and recvd was web.support@avantiwestcoast.co.uk. Note the form doesn’t actually cover abandoned journeys .. but it started the ball rolling , if in slightly the wrong direction initially so suggest if you booked via Avanti website and you’ve not already done so ,you try either the web form or the email address to start with ( suggest you wait for a human reply / instruction before cutting your ticket in half ) journey abandoned then its a human you need to deal with to manually process your refund to save being charged a £10 admin fee To those that managed to get there by train , but who were still delayed , remember you can still claim a refund ( full or partial , ) depending on the length of your delay ..believe outward and inward are treated as separate events best of luck

Mixed feelings coming away from that game today. On the plus side, it was an absolute joy to see my team play a few miles down the road from me. On the down side, that first half was an abysmal performance. We looked like we hadn’t a clue what we were tying to do. The second half was better, particularly after the introduction of the subs. You can see, if you look hard and possibly a bit wishfully, that there is something there. But the bottom line is, I loved being at Tynecastle today watching the Mighty Potters with a good number of fellow Stokies. I hope a trip north of the border becomes a regular part of our pre-season. Me too buddy, second that with sugar on......I've been in Dundee for almost 20 years and it was amazing to see them in Scotland, who cares about the result !!

Poor defending from Tymon generally
BUT a lovely ball for Campbell's goal (i'm right in thinking it was Tymon?), and I guess that is why other clubs might be interested.

A great ball, but what an absolute pathetic header into attempted touch to give the guy a chance to keep the ball in play which he did, albeit via the corner flag!

A very enjoyable weekend in lovely Edinburgh, spoiled by an abject game of football.
Roll on London....
