Seems the United States want to sanction countries who don't abide with the ICC and international law now.

I don’t know why it’s always uk & usa get involved with these wars with minor support from the rest of the world, is it right or wrong to get involved I don’t really know, would understand more if the other countries gave their full support instead of letting two nations do the running? As for being anti Russia, I dislike the regime, not 99% of the populous, for their incursion onto OUR LAND and poisoning people for whatever reason, the recent one in Salisbury and a few years ago the one in London using the tip of an umbrella spring to mind. I don't agree with the argument "I won't do the right thing unless everyone else does too". Not saying that's your argument, but some people think like that so Russian propaganda really pushes that narrative - they tell Americans that Europeans aren't helping, they tell Germans that British or French aid is less, and British people that German aid is less etc. Some slightly old data here. Europe has financed more than the US. And it doesn't seem to include that this year Germany budgeted €11bn military aid while we said something like £3bn iirc. In percent of GDP we've committed less than Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Croatia, the Netherlands and Poland.

Is the uk 3 billion on top of the 13 billion we’ve reportedly sent, on top of training Ukrainian forces over here etc?

- Russia says it shot down Ukrainian drones that attacked an oil depot. There's video with explosions and smoke very close to the depot though. - Ukraine says it launched ATACMS into Russia again, taking out a radar. No proof yet. Hopefully the west is sending many missiles to hit Russian targets now that the "red line" was found to be fake again. - the Economist says Ukraine hasn't hit recruitment targets for months. If true, then it'll take them even longer than expected to replenish and stabilise the front. - Russia has signed a law that new recruits can cancel payments on 10m roubles in debt (~$100k). Including family debt. On top of recruitment bonuses. In January there will be new data on the russian budget, wealth fund and debt. That'll give a much better idea of how close they are to financial disaster.

When it all boils down people vote for their pockets And if the liberal elites don’t start putting money in peoples pockets they’ll be toast It doesn’t matter if you can identify as a wardrobe if you haven’t a roof over your head and food in your stomach

Disgruntled voters will vote for an alternative if main stream parties can't be arsed to sell anything more than the status quo which is basically a reduced standard of living.

I read incumbent parties have lost all elections around the world in 2024.
There may be odd exceptions which prove the rule.

Shut down an entire economy on and off for 18 months but pay people as though it were open and there is £300 billion to find, never mind all the other fall out and burgeoning queues. But electorates cut government's no slack for this, so one by one they are getting chucked out.

Explosions supposedly filmed near a Kursk airfield.
Russia says they shot down all the missiles that attacked. It's often cloudy over winter so getting satellite imagery will be very hard.

Big recon drones detect enemy movements, then the soldiers call in artillery, missiles or drones.
Ukraine is using smaller drones to take out hundreds of recon drones. It seems to be helping as fewer Lancet hunter drones have been recorded recently.
If one side can take out most of the other's recon drones then it could shift the war. Russia no doubt will be preparing its own methods.

It looks like Ukrainian ATACMS took out russian S-400 air defences in Kursk.
India paid $850m for an S-400 system before the war. I think that's 8 launchers, a radar etc.
This would be a bunch of nearly expired missiles that only cost ~$5m new in exchange for $100+ million damage to russia.

Its absolutely crippled us, no doubt whatsoever, because its turned a fair percentage of people into lazy fuckwits.

Is there much information on him? I read this earlier and he was called far right because of his position on Ukraine and the EU. But there are many on the left who don't support EU or Ukraine conflict too. Would be interested to know his position on economy and stuff to see if he is actually far right or not.

Is in a runoff where he got 22% and his rival 20% we'll see President of Romania is largely ceremonial so it doesn't really matter that much what he thinks Roumanian Parliamentary Elections are on 1st December which are far more important For the record he is as much of a Nationalist as Far Right his citing of Ion Antonescu who facilitated the Holocaust and Corneliu Codreanu a noted antisemite as his heroes rounds off his CV
