Burnley likely to low ball though they’ve just very publicly got good money for an average centre forward ( at perm level) we know they have the cash. About time we got a good fee. Perfectly logical Would still expect Burnley to offer nowhere near £15m

Do Burnley see us as some sort of feeder club? Btw there seems to be an inappropriate amount of impatience from certain posters on here regarding TC. He's only just come back from a serious and complex injury and has shown he hasn't lost his eye for a well taken goal. Give the lad some time The lad is a natural goalscorer, at some point over the course of his contract he'll be banging them in. Which is when you sell for top dollar.

Imagine starting the season dreaming of getting into the play-offs on the back of Ty's skill and goals and our mighty Souttar shoring up the defence...but then selling Ty, losing Souttar through injury, but still making the play-offs from Ince's goals and 39 year old Jagielka in at centre back. ...with DWP dribbling through the entire Nottingham Forest team to score the play-offs winner

We really can't afford to lose Tyrese, to replace his ability as a natural goal scorer and potential would be virtually impossible with our finances, even if we got 20 Million for him. That said if Burnley forced negotiations 20 Million would have to be the starting point... and we'd surely have to be looking to roll the dice with ether a proven replacement (somehow?!) or a wildcard Liam Delap type loan

I don't want Tyrese to leave at all ... but if we can get £25m + extras, then i'd be sad to see him go but it'd go someway to safeguarding our club, and helping with the stupid FFp.

There’s no way TC is going Burnley Hoof ball style of play with a high chance of a relegation on his CV Yea money talks but work on getting his sharpness back until the summer then see who’s interested

Before his injury.. not a chance i would of sold him but now he doesn’t seem too be the same player.. obviously he still could get back too being too the standard he was but there’s a chance he might not.. so now I would sell him.. £20 million

Tyrese is not a Chris Woods replacement. He will no more win you flick on's than fly. They would have to change their whole style of play to accommodate him. They'd be better going for Andy Carroll on a 6 month contract. Plus Tyrese would be back in the championship next season without a doubt. He'd be better waiting til the summer, building himself back up and then going to a Leeds or a Palace or even Everton (if they're still there).

Does ol ginger balls love our players ? Collins, Bardsley, Pieters, Crouch now after Campbell We're to Burnley what Sunderland were once to us. Going back abit further aswell they've had Ade Akinbiyi, GNW, Wayne Thomas, Adrian Heath (2nd Time at Stoke) & Vince Overson off us in the past.. Thought James O'connor made the move from Stoke to Burnley but he went via WBA! & Who've they gifted us, Sam Vokes 🙄😬

He took a knock shortly after coming on v Hull Expectations need to be realistic I’m sure he was disappointed to miss a starting place I really hope wants to stay and regain his form and fitness with us Negative comments, not fit, overweight, not trying etc hope he doesn’t read the oatcake

If the Burnley 15-20 million offer is for real, I think Tyrese will definitely go. Its just too much money to turn down. Such an offer may not ever come up again.

He’s scored three goals since returning from injury, of which two were off the bench. However, I am not convinced he has the same pace. Hopefully that will return as he gets back to full fitness. Right now he looks unfit and overweight. Burnley will certainly see that when he takes a fitness test and either pass or make a very low offer.

Don't think Burnley would be a good move for him. I am expecting them to come down this season. I agree mate but £20m plus a big sell on clause might be too good to turn down in this shambolic FFP riddled world. I would be shocked if we got that now. If he had gone until last January in the form he started the season, perhaps, but as of yet, he’s not really done anything apart from show promise. Ollie Watkins went for £28 million just over a season ago. He’s quite likely to have a much better career than Campbell.

I dunner come on here much anymore. Mostly due to the dire kind of posts that litter this thread. We used to be supporters. We dunner deserve to find another Stein with fans like this, that would sell based on our Young Natural Striker “not being at the level he was before his first major injury”. Some of you need to give your head a wobble!

I’m not convinced a lowball offer would work, they have money, need a striker face relegation and are up against the clock. They know we have FFP issues, however, at present their need is greater, they can ill afford a protracted negotiation or another club entering the bidding. The only scenario where we don’t achieve a market rate based on his form from last year is if we have offered TC to clubs for a set fee as the FFP pressure is so great.

Did people seriously think he was going to come back and immediately be the same player he was before his injury? It could be next season before he starts looking like that player again. He's provided more glimpses of his old self than I was expecting at this stage, with his brilliant goal against Peterborough and that finish at QPR.

Would anyone take a swap to bring Collins back? I think I probably would right at this moment in time but come the summer we’re going to be mowed out with centre halves so that might be a short sighted view. Plus if we’ve got to lose Ty we might as well get cash for him to ease FFP and enable us to get a replacement. So on reflection, as much as it grieves me, possibly no, as we’d only lose Collins again in 12 months and may not get as much for him when we did. Especially with our injury curse and the imminent FFP worry.
