This won't be popular, but he did nothing when he came on and looked miles and miles off the pace.

Clearly been rushed back. Needs more time in the U23s to get some confidence back in his knee. He’s been very poor since returning which is to be expected given the nature of his injury

Thus won't be popular, but he did nothing when he came on and looked miles and miles off the pace. Because he needs match fitness and can only get that by playing

He's not even close yet is he?
I expected his touch to be off but he couldn't press today for 15 minutes. When you see Fletcher's energy at the end it's going to be a journey.

He was well off the pace but he was out for a long time, no pressure on the lad, build his fitness and sharpness up and he will be back to the player we saw last season.

This won't be popular, but he did nothing when he came on and looked miles and miles off the pace. Definitely needs match sharpness, which he will only get by coming on for 20-30 mins. That header he missed was kind of pathetic though. Brown was much more effective than him today and had a better partnership with Fletcher. Can’t wait for the Campbell of old to get back into it though.

Thought exactly the same, only put any real effort in just after the Fletcher goal, has all the ability but needs to do the ugly stuff as well

I just hope the injury hasn't finished him mentally. We need a fit Campbell firing on all cylinders to get the goals we are desperately missing. Gouranga.

Definitely lacking match sharpness but will only come with time and games.
He did so well to get his fitness levels up prior to injury. Something he was struggling with when he first broke into the team.

Not sure he can just mull around the field for 20 minutes every game. That performance wasn't just fitness or sharpness, he looked pissed up.

There is match fit then their is game fit, reckon it will be 6-8 weeks before he is anywhere near that.

Doesn't appear to have knocked him mentally IMO. He has the ideas and he is trying things, but his touch isn't there yet and looks really rusty (naturally). Its about the long game though. He is a game changer and in order to get him back to that, we will have to endure some performances like this along the way.

Unbelievable, a player who’s been out for 9 months isn’t looking too good at the moment.
It was a poor cameo tonight, but if we are to maintain a playoff push then we need to persevere and get some minutes in his legs, as he will play a massive part in any success.

He's better off playing in the u23's and getting a few 90 minutes in him before he comes back. It's psychological. At times there in some positions where the old Ty would have taken a touch, taken his time and backed himself to hold off his man, playing at his own pace, he wanted to get rid.
He looked a bit fearful of standing his ground, so he's best getting more confidence in the u23's.

Unfortunately he looks no where near. Its very early days after a long lay off but I'm more than concerned.
Fingers crossed for the lad. We could really do with him rediscovering his fitness and form.

Needs to regain fitness, confidence, sharpness, pretty much everything before he can be considered for selection. He'll get there, but he's way off it at the moment.

He will be fine I’m sure
My worry for Tyrese is more tactical, in my opinion he’s better playing in a 3 up top and from the right where he can cut in and shoot and play running at defenders, when he plays as a 3-5-2 he’s more like a number 9 and has to play with his back to goal which suits Fletcher but not Tyrese

U23 matches lack the intensity of the Championship. He needs to feel the defender breathing down his back. I don't want to loan him out. He needs careful handling which our fitness guys will be keeping a close eye on.

Fletcher was winning some great flick ons and you’d hope with fitness that Campbell will be running on to them. Brown had 2 chances because of Fletcher and I’d fancy Campbell to score 1 of them in his prime.

I wondered how long it would take before a thread like this popped up.
The lads recovering from a very serious injury, give him some time for heavens sake. We won’t see anything like Campbell as his best until the new year at least, get your heads around it.
