He certainly was mate but his finish shows why he has to play if/when fit Indeed Frustrating to see him get basic play so badly wrong If he can be consistently good with the simple stuff then that would make a big difference Bang on mate

Ince and then Mario when he can on stood out with consistently passing to Stoke players

Another goal in the bag. TC knows how to score and that's a massive plus. As an out and out finisher he’s probably one of if not they best in the league. An absolute natural goalscorer.

Seems some posters on here ( see previous in this thread ) can't see that and think he should spend his time tracking back and defending. Unbelievable

Unbelievable No but he should be able to hold the ball up at times, and pass to Stoke players and so on Since his goal at QPR his general play has been appalling If he wants to play in the Premier League he's going to have to work very hard on his game

Pre injury he was delivering better goal + assist numbers than Toney. I’m sure it’ll come back with more minutes - no player finds it easy to come back from 10-odd months without football.

He'd be mad to go there given their current situation and I'd be surprised they'd take a punt given his on-going recovery.

Don't think Burnley would be a good move for him. I am expecting them to come down this season. I agree mate but £20m plus a big sell on clause might be too good to turn down in this shambolic FFP riddled world.

He was rumoured to get a VERY big wage when he signed his new deal here too, to keep him away from Celtic and Rangers.
So I'd doubt there'd even be a really massive wage upgrade available, given Burnley's reputation as relatively low payers by Prem standards
Although you'd think they'd be challenging for automatic promotion if they came down
All in all, can't really see it from Burnley's perspective or Tyrese's.
I can see us being interested at £15m though, if there was anything in it

Early days I know, but DWP is a much better all round player.. Dunno about that, based on one game, ginge. Tyrese's form before he got injured was pretty special. He can do what very few people can - score goals!

If I was him, I’d be looking at clubs other than Burnley if he wants to move.

If Chris woods is 25 mil then Tys price starts at 25 mil..... that plus hefty sell on clause and I think we would have to ask Johns mate down the pub to chip in with a deciding vote.....

Is this not just a case of the press thinking - Burnley sell Woods who might they go for? Tyrese Campbell was linked with Toon before Woods moved so lets pick him?
Is there any more in this than there was to the original Tyrese to Newcastle 'rumour'?

The best thing Campbell can do is score some goals for us until the end of this season and see what comes up in the summer.

The problem is he's nowhere near the level he was before his injury and we dont know if he will get back to that level.
I'd take 15m for him all considering.

If we sell then you'd imagine we would be signing a striker to replace him. What do Burnley have to gain by signing him now though? He's not at his pre-injury form yet. Which makes me feel if there's any merit in this its us who have approached them. Potentially FFP related.

Do Burnley see us as some sort of feeder club? Btw there seems to be an inappropriate amount of impatience from certain posters on here regarding TC. He's only just come back from a serious and complex injury and has shown he hasn't lost his eye for a well taken goal. Give the lad some time

If we got £15 million for him I’d snap their hands off.
I’m sure he’ll continue to get over his injury, however, I just don’t think he’s as good as some amongst our fan base think he is.
This isn’t me saying he’s no good- he’s fine at this level- but , in our position, we cant afford to turn that money down, especially for a player who currently isn’t making a difference.

Burnley likely to low ball though they’ve just very publicly got good money for an average centre forward ( at perm level) we know they have the cash. About time we got a good fee.
