Newcastle Town more his level on last night's performance.
This might come back and bite me on the arse, but if a decent offer comes in, I'd be tempted to sell.

Yeah he did a very good Jacob Brown impression last night with a bit more pace and a lot less running. Control the fuking ball man you're a professional footballer with Premier League aspirations.

He's one of the few players who we know can play better though. I'm not really convinced that is the case with many of the others?

Campbell and Brown up top together never work. They both need to play off Fletcher.

Campbells only contribution last night was the cross that lead to the corner from which Ince scored, otherwise he looked like he did when he first came into the side, unfit. The hope is that his form will improve as his fitness does, plus being payed in the right combination

Said it before very, very overrated player. I don’t see what all the fuss is about with him. My biggest gripe is the fact that a professional footballer in his early twenties cannot do 90 minutes something seriously wrong there.

If Ty can find back to the shape he was in before he got injured last season he is one of the best strikers in this division. He obviously needs more gametime to achieve this though, and he needs to try to win headers as well. Since he came back he actually looks shit scared of competing for balls in the air.

Did he ever really compete for things in the air, not really part of his game, which is why you don't play him with Brown it was never going to work and its a worry that MON thinks it could.

How embarrassing His performance was poor- really, really poor. What's the point in pretending otherwise? There's got to be some leeway for a player coming back from injury, but it's been months now since he's been back and we've seen only glimpses of what he was like before the injury. I'm a big fan of him as well- I think he's the most natural finisher we've had for years, but at the moment he looks lazy and off the pace. If someone offered big money it'd be daft not to think about taking it.

Before he got injured he had the best minutes per goal or assist out of everyone in the league, including Toney. If he can return to pre-injury, he is THE best striker in the league.

Massive gamble. It certainly is for someone like the Newcastle boss out to impress his new owners, I'd be very surprised to see a £20m bid at this stage, more like a £10m bid max. I think he's got big potential though to be a 15+ goal man in this league, I just wish we were a good enough team to get the most out of him by giving him chances

He looked poor on Thursday because he cannot play with Brown because Brown isn’t a clever enough footballer. Pair him with Fletcher or wide in a front three and he is a different player as he showed towards the end of the second half down the left.

Him and Brown can’t play together but he has generally played with Fletcher and Vrancic so far this season. I don’t think we’ve played to his strengths at all though.

We need to go to a 4-2-3-1 now with Campbell and either brown or doughty each side of Fletcher
Fuck knows who plays in the two in midfield but suppose it will have to be allen and clucas.
We can't keep making ourselves look like total mugs, trying to play out through Danny Batth and nullifying Campbell and vrancic our best players.
The naivety in our tactics lately has been astonishing

I agree with the formation though, have a go at teams, if we have to... conceed a couple but outscore them

As long as Allen and clucas keep their discipline and use the ball, in vrancic, Campbell, Fletcher you have enough to win the game and this bring in brown to work one flank, which is probably his best position anyway and it also means he can find more time for doughty and ince. Fox at left back, Smith at right back, wilmot and Batth center backs and less pressure on Batth to try and dictate play.. It's insanity going with three at the back with the players we have available now

But that’s got nothing to do with actually playing in midfield has it? I also don’t think they should have scored from there anyway even with his mistake. Batth just switches off. The second goal is the same, yeah Clucas is terrible for it but would you expect us to score from that situation? No chance we do. Same with the first.

It was shit and headless by Wilmot wherever he was supposed to be playing but to get sucked out of defence to try that tackle was even worse because, as you say, it exposed the statue that is Danny Batth to nippy forwards. Absolutely rank however you look at it. No point saying don’t bother replying because you most certainly will. Just don’t expect another response from me as I’ve better things to do with my evening than to get into a Chuckle Brothers tussle with you.
