I remember that period where we didn't win a game between the start of February and the middle of March with Romaine and Joseph in the side. Heady heady days indeed! Think you’ll find sawyers was injured Sawyers came back at the start of March, where we proceeded to lose 5 of our next 6. It's almost like there's a different thing at play here isn't it? Like the bloke managing the team or summat ike that?

Think he is missing Allen, or a player or similar ilk. Some players thrive alongside players with more seniority and/or experience and then struggle when they become the main man and I reckon there is a bit of that at play with Baker.
He looks half the player he was last year.

Absolutely nothing wrong with baker. In fact the midfield functioned well. The issue today is that the imbalance came from our backline which is disorganized, standing square on and just isn't working, and obviously a keeper who can't make a save I think Baker might function better once he's got Laurant alongside him doing some of his donkeywork.

He’s playing exactly the same as he did last year, but his pot shots aren’t going in at the same rate. He’s not a bad player, he’s just not that creative, or that aggressive. He has a decent shot on him and gets a lot less stick when he’s scoring.

He was awful today. Culpable for their goal and repeatedly standing around as opponents waltzed past him.
At least he was better than Smallbone who is in the Brek Shea, Des Backos league of dreadful.

We've been shit ever since we signed Joe Allen and we're still shit. In years to come I can imagine history being rewritten and Joe Allen was some kind of midfield messiah for us.

Didn’t think Smallbone was that bad? He was dreadful and for me Nick Powell can't come back quick enough. Two really bad games at home for Smallbone
