Not sure, but I’d be surprised if Fulham would have walked the league like they did without Mitrovic and Wilson. We are a playoff contender when all are fit, but so are about 10 or so other teams. When you lose those two players (Souttar, Powell + Campbell to be honest) last season, then i don’t think it’s wholly surprising to see us move from 4th/5th to the bottom of that pile of playoff contenders. I wouldn’t say Fulham walked the league. They were certainly comfortable but they had the lowest points total of any champion since 2015, and their points total wouldn’t have got them auto promotion at all in 2 of the previous 5 seasons. Probably says a lot about the quality of the league last season. In that it was good or bad? When the points total at the top is low I generally don't think that it shows the quality of the league is high or low but that all the teams are pretty much of the same standard which is probably always true in the Championship. It's a pretty mediocre division. I think Fulham were obviously the best team and should have walked it by more last year but seemed to lose interest after a spell of dominant performances and then just strolled to the line without having tp play at their best for the last two months.

Their dominance of teams before they were comfortable and scoring record does suggest they were head and shoulders above the rest of the league. Whilst they were winning 8-0 we were actively trying to win every game 1-0.

He’s not playing in his best position at the moment but he’s been a complete passenger these last two games.
He didn’t make a single tackle today and according to the stats was involved in 6 duals and lost out in 5 of them.
We need to be seeing much more from the captain.

Can see he has ability but he’s gone off the boil. Liked the look of Kilkenny I have to say, really tidy player, good on the ball, nice and composed - but a bit small and lightweight. If we could get him and Baker playing in a 2 I think we’d do better, but longer term I think Laurent needs to start just because of his physicality

I thought Baker was a big problem today, too many poor touches and passes, slow to the 2nd ball and he was no leader at all. He should have been in the refs face, calming other players down, bollocking, praising where appropriate and encouraging the team forward. Not a captain for me

Yeah he’s been poor this season.
Could be due to no Allen?
I think more he’s had a pre season under MON.

This clueless manager is making him play a position he’s shit at. O’Neill has to go it’s as simple as that. Even last year he had a license to get forward and make things happen. All the life has been sucked out of him. He’s a very good player.

Anyone would think he had a midfielder alongside him last season who allowed him to play? The midfield looked as good with Laurent during the one decent game we've had this season.. Allen wasn't that important, the manager is the problem.

Think he's definitely missing Joe Allen alongside him Like I said when people on here wanted rid of Joe, He was winning the ball for Baker to let him play. See how Joe is playing that way for Swansea. He just reads the game.

Is this the same Joe Allen who today led Swansea to a 0-2 defeat at the hands of Luton giving them their first win of the season. Uncle Joe will be lining up against Stoke in a couple of weeks.

Allen and sawyers walk into this team I remember that period where we didn't win a game between the start of February and the middle of March with Romaine and Joseph in the side. Heady heady days indeed!

Was poor today but still a hell of a lot better than Smallbone. The inability of the WBs to join in midfield play seems to be making a poor unbalanced midfield even worse.

Absolutely nothing wrong with baker.
In fact the midfield functioned well.
The issue today is that the imbalance came from our backline which is disorganized, standing square on and just isn't working, and obviously a keeper who can't make a save
