Here's a name that gets forgotten about from this era. Absolute bangers. Plenty of great striking talent in that era,Daniel Fonseca was another under-radar player,Boksic also, seemed to have perfected the art of lobbing keepers... Davide Fontalan is another name that's suddenly popped into my head, but can't remember if he was any good or merely a bit of a journeyman?

Think he was Inters back up striker for a number of years, often coming off the bench and scoring. AC Milan had similar with Marco Simone (though to be fair he was better)

Loved Mancini in that Sampdoria side.
Not one for tap-ins,such an intelligent player, another Italian who'd mastered the art of volleying the ball:

Think the first Italian game CH4 ever showed was Samp's pulsating 3-3 draw with a Gazzerless Lazio?

Their 4 foreigners (3 of whom coukd play) were Gazza, Aron Winter, Karl Heinz Reidle and Thomas Doll. Plenty of goals in that team

I seem to recall Fuser playing as a wide right midfielder as opposed to a holding role tho'?
