Well the fact both his parents worked for many years for bury Bury paid the wages that put food on his table whilst they were growing up Paid the wages that put a roof over his head whilst growing up His mother was still an employee when they went under Oh and I forgot the main reason the sanctimonious tosser considers himself the champion of the poor working class Correct me if I’m wrong, but they WORKED for Bury right. As in, there was an exchange of service? The only person(s) that put a roof over his head were his parents. Bury paid someone to do a job and they (presumably) did it. It’s not a favour, it’s a contract.

How do you have difficulty transferring money? Only yesterday I transferred a wedge of cash from my current account to my savings account. It took 30s to do and the transfer was instant. It would be a lot more difficult if there was nothing in your savings to transfer though.

I think it's time to be less lenient with them both with just one year left of their contracts!

A good arguement but not all cheeses have the same melting point, so a lot of the end product would be down to chance.

The answer to that is still why should he, his parents worked there so what. The food on the table bit is nonsense, his parents did that by working, the club didn’t give them everything for free. moreso, the Neville family raised a lot of money for that club which was wasted by incompetent owners. Neville would have had to pay £2m for Bury and then inherited huge debts, which he couldn't do anyway as he was financially committed to Salford since 2014 so it's a nonsense. anyway back to Derby....... Lim has put all the money into Salford the class of 92 have put relatively little in, it wasnt Salford stopping him Bury were in such a financial mess it made no sense trying to save them, they'd sold the stadium, car parking spaces pretty much anything not nailed down, you'd hope he'd help the pheonix club though lets see.

Nevertheless he's a shareholder and co-owner. Bury was a complete lost cause though due to terrible mismanagement and awful owners who should never have passed the fit and proper test in a million years.

Yeah I agree they are the rules my point was more if he had wanted to save them he could have just gifted the shares or sold them to Lim and stood down without significant financial loss on his Salford investment but Bury was a hopeless cause would have just been throwing good money after bad for a team with 4000 or so fans better to start again and hopefully they come back better having already got the stadium back.

Wow, if Ashley (And I have no reason to doubt that he does) has proof of them making him preferred bidder back in January? I wouldn't call that "frivolous." What a joke this Quantuma is. But then again, Mel Morris picked them so I can't really feign surprise.
Meanwhile, according to Steve Miller: Time keeps on slipping, slipping, slipping, into the future. Looks to me like they have a week to get this sorted, or am I missing something here?

One simple question for me. How can a club have no owners and be part of the new fixture list?

I would imagine Juneteenth will hold things up this weekend.

Why aren't the administrators selling off their players to generate funds while the process is ongoing?

Why aren't the administrators selling off their players to generate funds while the process is ongoing? good question, I think there take on it will be they will be unable to get the market value for players in their current situation

Why aren't the administrators selling off their players to generate funds while the process is ongoing? good question, I think there take on it will be they will be unable to get the market value for players in their current situation If you or I were in a dire financial situation with loads of overdue debt we would have to sell any assets for whatever we could get. The pawnbrokers wouldn't give us market value but if they were the only ones buying we wouldn't have any choice.

I've never known anyone in admin to not do it. It's a fire sale. You take what you're offered. It's been right scam.

The terms when they bought him from Poznan were apparently to pay over instalments. Quantuma apparently asked Poznan to defer the instalment when Derby went into Admin, despite them receiving a fee for flogging him to a new club. Suggests that Poznan didn’t see any of the £2m Derby got for him, and may well not see any of the remainder of the fee. That kind of shit, if true, shouldn’t be allowed. You can’t surely profit from a player in that way whether in admin or not.
