I used to really like lewis when he burst on to the scene, his early appearances on top gear, etc. But now he’s a graceless, classless cunt that takes himself way too seriously with shit hair that talks with a faux American accent. No offence. Top gear hey? Thought so tbf |

Agreed. Racing incident for me. Harsh penalty I’m on the same page. Could Hamilton have moved in yes did he move towards Max no. Max thought Hamilton would back off so he cut in expecting the space to be there it wasn’t. Seen a lot worse done deliberately that was just two drivers not backing down. Agreed 100%. Just glad both drivers ended up out of the race, fairest scenario. |

Fair and correct penalty in my view, the incident was not dissimilar to Silverstone where Hamilton was more wrong than Max. As soon as Horner called it a racing incident, it made the stewards jobs much easier to blame Max.

Speaking out against drivers for not taking the knee was my enough for me. Drivers should be entitled to do as they please, didn't mean they were being racist by not doing what Lewis demanded of them. Hamilton didn't demand anything of anyone. He said taking the knee was personal choice and that he felt unsupported when it came to race issues in F1. Which he was right to say - that had been the case for a long time. What issues is he speaking out on that have 'nothing to do with him'? Vettel has started speaking out about LGBT issues and wearing a rainbow t-shirt and helmet, so you could say the same about Vettel. |

This all followed the George Floyd incident & was a point in time where footballers had began the knee gesture. Who was Hamilton to criticise what others did or didn't do at that time? All the drivers acknowledged the racism cause pre race & wore anti racism T'shirts. But not all did the knee gesture, nor did all make statements on their social media accounts at this time. All of these options were personal choice & afterall we all have a right to remain silent as we do to speak out about issues. Hamiltons attitude towards this subject was a do as I say & do as I do mentality. To apportion the quote 'silence is complicit' is way off the mark & a definite dig at fellow drivers for not being as pro active as he was with regards to the knee gesture or expressing opinions on their social media accounts. As for interfering in things that have nothing to do with him, wearing the shirt on the F1 podium making a political statement concerning the death of Breonna Taylor in the USA is a prime example. With regards to Vettel and promoting the LGBT, no major issues with that whatsoever as he isn't making derogatory comments or expectations of other drivers to do the same, as Hamilton has done regarding race issues because it happened to be topical at the time. You mentioning Vettel in the same breath as Hamilton has kind of proved the point & highlights the difference between the two & the way they go about things. |
