The Max Verstappen fan club have gone quiet 👀.. Lewis still the man to beat after another fantastic drive. It’s going to be a very close run season this season, I still think Verstappen will do it but all three races have been good to watch so far. Norris consistently being the best of the rest is superb to see, if fortune falls his way he could find himself on the top step at some point similar to Gasly last year.

The weight of expectation appears to have completely crushed Bottas, I’m fully expecting him to go to Williams and Russell make the Mercedes switch at the end of the season. Bottas was complaining of a lack of power yesterday but as the graphics showed this just wasn’t the case, there was a duff sensor that was fixed and reset within half a lap, he’s in his own head and it’s showing badly, to end up behind Hamilton is inevitable, to lose ground to Verstappen when the Mercedes were happier on the newer tyres is extremely poor.

I'd be shocked and disappointed if Bottas goes to Williams. There's no way he's going to keep his seat at Mercedes for next year, but going to Williams would be purely for the money. For me, Bottas is a solid number two driver for a second tier team and Id put him i the same league as Perez.
McLaren's continued improvement is looking very promising, but ultimately, it's going to count for very little with the new rules for next year. I hope Red Bull can keep the pressure on Mercedes this year as it's shaping up really well with Lewis having to earn his wins.
on another note, Hamilton's overtake of Bottas had me wincing as I did not think he could pull it off, and I think Max is going to keep being angry as he keeps making small but costly mistakes.

I honestly can’t see where else he ends up. Hamilton will definitely do another season, with Russell in the other seat being groomed to be the next Lewis. Red Bull will never get rid of Verstappen, and even if they get rid of Checo they have a plethora of talent to promote to the seat. McLaren have Lando and Danny Ric who won’t be going anywhere, particularly Norris given how valuable he is not only as a driver but as a commercial entity for McLaren Ferrari will not get rid of Leclerc and Sainz. AlphaTauri will keep Tsunoda, strong rumours Alpine want Gasly and even if that move did happen I could see Alex Albon back in the AlphaTauri Alpine will probably keep Alonso for the experience for another season, Ocon is going to have to drive his bollocks off to keep the seat from Gasly, which at the moment he’s doing. Aston Martin are owned by Lawrence Stroll so Lance won’t be going anywhere, Vettel for me is finished but they’ve invested too much into him to give up on him after one season Alfa Romeo is a possibility, this has to be Raikkonen’s last season and Giovinazzi needs to show signs of improvement, although they have Callum Ilott and no doubt Mick Schumacher waiting in the wings seeing as they’re essentially Ferrari’s AlphaTauri Williams will lose Russell to Mercedes, Latifi won’t go anywhere due to his financial backing, which leaves a seat spare there. Strong rumours that Haas are being sold to Mazepin’s father, which means that tosser isn’t going anywhere and I couldn’t see Bottas in a Haas. There isn’t many other options for him.

I see Bottas leaving F1 rather than go to another team. I agree with all of your comments except for Red Bull having a plethora of talent, as that's why Perez got the gig. Watching Mazepin fail every week is something I hope will continue, having a knobhead like him in F1 has been great for the unity of all F1 fans. Having said that, I'm a bit pissed that he actually managed to finish the race this week, but at least he got sworn at for for been so fucked up he forgot what the blue flags were for.

Pressure and expectation is part of it, but Bottas is just not good enough. He wasn't even setting the world alight in his first stint at Williams. I don't think Rosberg was on Lewis or Max's level either. He lucked out cos of rare mechanical gremlins for Lewis. In Max, we have both a competition closely matched in both man and machine. With Vettel, he had the machine but has been always overrated as a driver.

I dont get the hatred towards Hamilton, I really don't... Is it just the usual brits wanting to pull other brits, who have success, down?
He is clearly the best racer on track and has been for so long. Max, without doubt, is very good and will be a multiple world champion.
The fact is, Red Bull have put a very VERY good car together this year, but on track I still think Lewis is the best driver on the grid.
Really want to see Lando do well as well, a thoroughly likeable chap

Lando is the reason I started watching F1 with a vested interest, by far my favourite driver on the grid absolutely love him.

I've never been a true racing fan, but I've been watching Netflix's F1 documentary series, so it's certainly helped me appreciate and understand the strategies involved the sport better. I watched the race today and thoroughly enjoyed it. F1 is littered with egos, but Hamilton actually seems more subdued (aside from diamonds on everything he wears) than the other drivers I've watched so far or he could just better polished in interviews. Watching Verstappen grind out the win today at the end was pretty exciting.

Goarn Max Verstappen Also, Aston Martin competing for the first time in 60 years. It’s a fantastic spectacle and when I’m a billionaire I’ll follow it all over the world vip. When I'm a millionaire I'll do what I do now and play the scalelctric.

Hamilton is definitely a twat. when your the greatest f1 driver/most successful of all time your entitled to be a twat dont agree with a lot of what he says or does but he truly is magic in the car, he will win again this year and then i think have another season in the new era of cars beginning next year, if it carries on well he will continue to dominate for a while!
