Yeah it's a long list. It is a twattish snipey interview from Bowyer but he is right. That comment just stood out a mile though, hopefully he's overplaying to be a full on twat. Hopefully he was just trying to put teams off gambling on him in January But it seems if we wouldn't have pulled the trigger, 4 or 5 others would have. We claim we've given him the most stringent medical possible, so just got to hope for the best. He does seem massively reliant on his pace He's exactly what we need so hopefully he will be fine and we can manage him so he stays fine. McClean is only getting worse so someone who can do stuff on the left will be lovely.

Is this the same Lee Bowyer that was convicted of affray several times, had to do rehabilitation for drugs test failures, started a fight on the pitch with his own team mate, had regular red cards for violent conduct and is a bit of a twat all round?
The same one who thought Stoke should be relegated not Charlton when the original lockdown took place because it wasn't fair that Charlton had spent 1 day in the bottom 3 compared to Stoke most of the season?
He is an absolute whopper
I am quite excited about the prospects next season with a young, fresh team if we can get the right balance of experience in with them
As well as Campbell, Collins, Souttar, Bursik we have on the fringes Forrester, Porter, Varian, Blondy, Coates, Jarrett, Wright Phillips, Goodwin all hopefully getting a chance
Cant see Spurs allowing Clark to leave but you never know, Oakley-Boothe needs to step up but is young, Thompson I quite like tbh, Nozzer again cant see Sheff Utd letting him leave but if you don't ask..., Tymon still young.
Could be exciting times if we can clear the baggage of old and build a quick, exciting young team.

"he’s already had one setback before he even got off the bed" What's that about? I don't know but I'm not overly enthused about having a team full of crocks next season. Campbell out for 9 months Doughty out for at least 7 months Allen not long back after 8 months out and the age of 31 Mikel aged 34 who can't last more than half a game. Fletcher 34 who is constantly out with niggles. Fox who's done both his hamstrings within a few weeks of each other. Collins coming back from a fracture. well if we want good players who want to play for us & we cant spend the money we have due to FFP something has to give

Other teams in this league and below didn’t spunk £50+ million on pointless signings on long contracts with Premier League wages. Due to past mistakes our position re. FFP is more precarious than most clubs’. The damage was done and we have to deal with it.

Generally better players cost more money. Problem is that we’ve gone for worse players who cost more money. When you look at our current squad our best players Collins Soutter Bursic Thompson Cousins Powell Campbell Have cost next to nothing Then we have all those wasters we’ve spent a fortune on Wimmer NDaiye Etebo Bauer Berehino Vokes Imbula Ince Who wouldn’t even get in the team if they were still at the club

But it's where most of the league are and most of the clubs below us. It's what they have to do and if we didn't go back up by the time the parachute payments ended, it's what we'd have to do. It's not ideal obviously but it's a mess the club have made and I think it's a mess we've added to window on window even this January. I just have little sympathy for the lot of them.

Look at the like of Bournemouth and Swansea. They have been able to balance their books with big sales, whereas we’ve barely been able to give our ex prem players away, whilst in the process wasting countless millions on crap.

Rumour had it there was interest in Butland and Allen but I’m not so sure. For a club who had been in the top league for a decade the squad was in a shameful state really.

We turned down bids for Allen and Butland didn't we? Which is madness. They would have been the first two out of the door for me. We also didn't need to spend 50m on players.

I think that was just rumour. There was never anything concrete was there? We certainly didn’t need to spend £50 million on the players that we did buy. Looking back nearly three years later they have proven to be dreadful purchases. Three good PL loans like Gayle, Abraham and Harry Wilson or Harvey Barnes would have been fine.

Butland I think was respectful of the club's valuation and it was just too high. I still think we could sell Allen to a PL club now tbh.

Any transfer fee would be welcomed I’m sure plus a huge salary off the wage bill. Personally I’d be looking to bring in Ashley Mowatt and Joe Rothwell with the proceedings.

That's like a lot of clubs that cope fine. It's an excuse, nothing more or less. And tbh I think that 3m has been spent pretty badly itself. We shall see re Doughty!

Why? The last five managers have pretty much ignored all of our young talent. Michael's the first to actually blood our youngsters and give them a chance to prove themselves. They seem to be relishing the opportunity and we have to give MON the credit for allowing them. i think you're getting facts get in the way there Collins, Souttar, Campbell etc were transformed into quality first team players by MON and handled them so well
