If Nicola Cranky has the brass to speak in public she will no doubt infer that;
This is a Westminster inspired conspiracy to thwart our rightful claim to another Independence referendum.
That’s her stock answer to all questions.🤪

Funny how you didn't post that on the Trump thread You mean in exactly the same way you haven't criticised the latest SNP debacle but slate Trump at every opportunity on the Trump thread? Are you intentionally a total hypocrite or just not very bright? Or maybe both 😏

They must have some pretty good evidence on him I'd say for him to be arrested and all. Wasn't he in a bit of a controversy a few weeks ago in relation to falsifying the number of members or something too? Wonder if this could be part of the reason why Surgeon suddenly stepped down. Was the writing already on the wall. Occam's razor would suggest so It's unlikely He/They practiced The Law of Parsimony with all that dosh

For me mate they started well and replaced a Labour party that genuinely took Scotland for granted. Salmond knew they needed a competent government to increase independence support. Since 2014 its increasingly careerists who've taken their seat on the gravy train for granted so roles reversed from when they took over from Labour. It's such a shambles Tories are on for winning numerous southern/ North Eastern seats What do you think of their new leader? Seems a nice lad but I know very little about him. I think he's fucked mate to be honest - fully endorsed Murrell during the leadership elections. The validity will immediately be called into question given the jiggery pokery of membership numbers and accusations SNP hierarchy were pushing him heavily as preferred candidate. Membership voted for the new leader but do the numbers stack up so more popcorn to follow maybe? As transport minister was caught driving without insurance. As justice minister the Hate crime Bill,amonst others, was a complete shambles and kicked into the long grass. Accused scottish government of racism despite ethnic minorities over represented (actually English are the most underrepresented interestingly) Went to the papers with accusation of racism against local nursery having no space for his kid despite previous role as justice so well aware thats shady as fuck. Interesting twist was owner was Hindu and staff member white. Nursery unhappy with statement released from Charity commission as was a fudge as they'd got various ethnicities on the books so was down to admin issues- the lass in question had a massive social media pile on to deal with and sounds more like she didn't like his wife or maybe the snp rather than being racially motivated. Original story coincidentally dropped though the same day as record drug deaths and he was then Health minister - purely coincidental! Rumours of shagging office juniors on social media. All style no substance so fits right in and keeps falling upwards - SNP turned into New Labour for me and have been totally corrupted.

Funny how you didn't post that on the Trump thread While bianca may not hold all politicians to high standards, it doesn't mean the rest of us shouldn't. We shouldn't allow this to descend into whataboutery. Absolutely, the same standards of comparison and "glee" at such events should apply. The law should apply equally to all, as we're absolutely not about to see across the pond!

Are you intentionally a total hypocrite or just not very bright? Or maybe both 😏 Oh, the irony! There is a slight difference in that Trump is demonstrably a dangerous moron and has a lengthy track record to prove it, not the least of which is inciting his supporters to "lock her up" while, at the same time, committing his own felonies (allegedly) If the "latest SNP debacle" results in a conviction, I'll be quite happy that the law-breakers have been brought to justice, irrespective of who they are. The law should apply equally to all.

Joanna Cherry got hammered for her GRA stance with death threats and everything yer party barely bothered their arse. One was caught sexting a 15 year old lad and barely got his knuckles wrapped. Lorna Slater of the Greens got 2k votes but has managed to spunk stupid money up the wall on a deposit scheme that won't work and could even be pulled by the UK government as acting outside legal authority (again) Various MSPs and MPs had legal defence paid for them or claimed via expenses. There's a whole can of worms going to explode.

Starmer must be watching on with some interest. Probably best placed to pick up any votes from the fall-out, if and when it comes.

Tories will get South and Aberdeenshire; Labour Glasgow and bits of Central belt and; Lib Dems islands, Edinburgh and maybe Highlands would be my guess Alba will break through in Holyrood presuming it's still open.

How can they run a country when they can’t run a party Britain hasn’t fallen off the edge of the World (yet) and the Conservatives are constantly mired by infighting, speculation and controversy.

They're still there! Either something is afoot or the police are revelling in ripping the absolute piss.
Alternatively its all an elaborate advertising campaign culminating Friday when the new cast of STV's 2023 remake of Taggart burst out of the tent:
'There's been a misgender!'
