So disappointing that. We were cruising and it didn’t feel like we’d lose. Then Vokes happened. Meh. Spot on bayern. Why the fuck Powell didn't take that penalty I will never know we threw that away. Yeah I expected Powell to take it. Why would Vokes take it? All of our managers making tonight.

I thought Cardiff would be good as well.
They were utter garbage.
So angry we’ve chucked that game away.
Especially with two away games coming up and a depleted squad.

How to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory-bring on Vokes and Shawcross! Shawcross didn’t put a foot wrong from what I saw. Did you watch it?

I really do not have a clue as he would have buried it for sure. I would have even put money on McLean to bury the fucker but as soon as Vokes stepped up you could have wrote the script. We folded after that and we need to bounce back which may not be as easy due to the injuries which are piling up.

It was Powell's man. Nothing to do with Shawcross. He was I'm afraid in no man's land, which makes a difference. As the captain and CB he either takes charge of that situation or gets Powell organised. I love the bloke to bits but he was flat footed and nowhere. Match rusty. You are entitled to your opinion but I flat out disagree with you. Shawcross was tracking their sub Glatzel at all corners. It did not change throughout the game for the time that Shawcross was on the pitch. Powell was tracking their goalscorer Morrison as he also did for some of the subsequent corners. What do you mean by "get Powell organised"?. Do you expect Shawcross to tie a piece of rope to Powell and Morrison? Powell knew it was his man. He was clearly watching Morrison as the corner was being taken and he tracked him half-arsedly when he moved. He just didn't do it properly. I won't bother with the flat footed and nowhere. (a) because I disagree and (b) because it is not relevant. He may well be match rusty but that had nothing to do with the goal.

Sounds daft but it's genuinely upsetting watching Vokes play for us. It really is, if he was fighting, like Brown, you could perhaps forgive him, but he offers nothing, and puts pressure on the rest of the team. Exactly. Can't move, can't jump, obviously can't press, can't finish. Painful

We were top two at half time you dimwit Take a look at the table tomorrow night after 16 games and then work out who is the dimwit , answers on a post card please .

We've barely got any players left. Ince's 10 minute cameo (did he touch the ball) showed why he can't be trust and Verlinden is returning from a serious injury. We've handed them the game courtesy of that useless twat demanding to take a penalty that he should be nowhere near. 3 penalties in a Stoke shirt and he's missed all 3. After that it's backs to the wall and we gift them 2 goals from calamity defending. The defending is almost excusable given that we are probably dead on our feet and down to bare bones in terms of fit players available. The pressure ramped up after the penalty miss and changed the entire course of the game. The only person costing us victory tonight is Sam Vokes. Until he came on and missed that decisive penalty, we were comfortable and in no danger whatsoever. The subs didn't really change the course of the game. They had 2 efforts at goal, both from set pieces. You don't bring brown off for Ryan im afraid Ince or Verlinden was the obvious choice he chose not to lose and he did. Did well Ince when he came on? Any reluctance to bring on that useless wanker is perfectly fair I'd say, as evidenced yet again by another 15 minute showing where he didn't break sweat and barely touched the ball. How fit is Verlinden? He's played 2 under 23 games in best part of 6 months.

Tired, devoid of any ideas after Campbell went off and we had Sam Vokes on. Needs to move in January. Total dross. I've stuck up for Vokes until now. Not good enough he wasn't even dirty at full time. I agree he now needs to be moved on. Agreed, but I’m not sure he could even do a job at IKEA or Furniture Village?

I don't get the determination to stick the boot into the manager. The man is a miracle worker. We've gone from bottom of the league and destined for league 1 to 3 points off the top of the league with a team being patched up and put out onto the pitch 3 times per week. There is one place and one place only any anger should be directed tonight and it most definitely isn't in the direction of the manager.

Yes he was and we had two wingers on the bench. One was Ince (nuff said) the other hasn't played for months though. Plus their corners were showing the defence up.

Vokes paxo-ed us with yet another lazy, sloppy performance. If MON had've wanted a defender on, he'd have brought on Ryan before that sloth! Yet Vokes spent minimal time in the opposition half. Downright lazy performance from him which completely undermined our control of that game!!

Very scrappy and hugely disappointing. We lost hope after Tyrese went off and Vokes missed the penalty. We really need a striker in January who can hold the ball up and link the play. Far too much Hoofball. We have one already but he is currently injured.

He's been playing in the under 23s so he should be fit by now to play half a game at least and Ince still would have been better than shitting it like he did.

If he’d have been only half aware of where the ball was for their second, instead of manhandling another forward, he might have tried to clear the ball. We don’t need him,as soon as Souttar is back the better and play him along side Collins.

Collins has to revert to right back Saturday for me. Amongst other things Smith got away with murder tonight but went unnoticed because of other problems. He was woeful. I hope Souttar is ready to slot back into CB. Verlinden has to start if Ty is out.
