Basically that was all Stoke until Ty went off.
Even then they couldn’t handle Brownie.
Then the Vokes shite show- cast iron case for never letting a shite striker with no confidence take a crucial penno.
Then 2 only shots on target from Bardiff and just just bloody well score them.
The injuries are now getting RIDICULOUS

Do you really see that result due to the manager??? Yes. If players are injured he has to replace them, but we have a load of shit on the bench, that is the problem!

Cardiff were shit. They handed us the game on a plate with an own goal and a penalty, and we handed it right back to them with Vokes and some bloody awful defending. Pretty much sums it up. 2-0 the game is over. Missed the penalty and we handed all impetus back over to them. But for all that it was a shit game, like Wycombe and Middlesbrough and symptomatic of this league in general. Fortunately on most occasions we’ve come out the right side of these dull and combative games, but this was one game too far.

What a load of bollocks. The 3 points were handed to Cardiff courtesy of 1 man and 1 man alone. Vokes single handedly changed the course of the game away from our grasp. And who made the subs he gave up at 1-1 and shit it. We've barely got any players left. Ince's 10 minute cameo (did he touch the ball) showed why he can't be trust and Verlinden is returning from a serious injury. We've handed them the game courtesy of that useless twat demanding to take a penalty that he should be nowhere near. 3 penalties in a Stoke shirt and he's missed all 3. After that it's backs to the wall and we gift them 2 goals from calamity defending. The defending is almost excusable given that we are probably dead on our feet and down to bare bones in terms of fit players available. The pressure ramped up after the penalty miss and changed the entire course of the game. The only person costing us victory tonight is Sam Vokes. Until he came on and missed that decisive penalty, we were comfortable and in no danger whatsoever. The subs didn't really change the course of the game. They had 2 efforts at goal, both from set pieces.

I'm actually fucking livid. At the Vokes sub, the decision to let Vokes take the penalty, and Vokes' 'performance' having come on.
I'm not sure I ever want to watch another minute of football if that useless wanker's anywhere near the pitch.
Fucking hell.

Vokes is an absolute disgrace to the professional game. I can't believe the money spent on this waster. MON has dropped one tonight with the brain fart subs however. Surely Verlinden on with his pace to at least give them something to think about! Verlinden will be needed to replace McLean at the weekend

Well done MON all down to your pathetic shithouse subs. What a load of bollocks. The 3 points were handed to Cardiff courtesy of 1 man and 1 man alone. Vokes single handedly changed the course of the game away from our grasp. Nothing to do with the two defensive errors then, I take it you dont like vokes

Oh well, mid table mediocrity it is then. I was thinking that maybe this could be our year when we were winning with a injury ravaged team. How does that result equate to mid table mediocrity? Vokes, or more sensibly Powell, scores the pen we win are second and you would be posting certain promotion.

I'm pretty sure 30k per week will soften the blow. Almost nothing said about his contribution in a Stoke shirt, both tonight and pretty much ever since his debut, would be anywhere near harsh enough. He is as big a steaming pile of shit as has ever played for our club. He is beyond useless. There are no words really to describe just how wank he is. Dave, I don’t like him as a player and wish he wasn’t with us but there are other factors that have affected tonight’s result. Both goals were poor, MON’s decision to bring on Ryan was bonkers and losing Ty and Brown killed us too. I just don’t agree with all the invective against one man as if he is the only reason we lost. The Ryan decision was a reaction to getting Vokes wrong. He plays Verlinden for Ty and he has cover down the right flank. With the wardrobe in the middle and Browns injury and he's fucked. Has to double up on the right by pushing Collins out there. The Vokes sub was the big mistake.

Vokes once again is found guilty of impersonating a professional footballer and 'running' around like a goose in a nappy. He really is worse than Vincent Pericard and Donkey Bamber. Should only have a Stoke shirt if he buys one in the club shop. Completely to blame for not securing 3 points.

Sounds daft but it's genuinely upsetting watching Vokes play for us. It really is, if he was fighting, like Brown, you could perhaps forgive him, but he offers nothing, and puts pressure on the rest of the team.

Just admit that MON shit it, Shawcross for Brown is all that needs to be said, we have wingers and not just Ince but he went negative and it cost us, Campbell is a big miss but it shouldn't mean we completely fall apart like we did. For all the good MON has done so far with us, tonight was a shoking night for him.

So disappointing that. We were cruising and it didn’t feel like we’d lose. Then Vokes happened. Meh. Spot on bayern. Why the fuck Powell didn't take that penalty I will never know we threw that away.

Incredible that MON gets abuse on this site. 6 points adrift when he arrived. 2nd in the league part way through this game. It’s hard not to be ashamed of some of the shit written on this site

Characteristically so Stoke. I’m fuming, but shouldn’t be as this is just what they do. Yep, it’s the hope that kills you! As soon as Vokes stepped up I had a feeling he isn’t going to score. From then on in was inevitable that we would concede and probably lose. The commentator was pissing me off with his comments about us not conceding from set plays, almost as though he was tempting fate continuously for them to score- low and behold two bloody set play goals!!!!

We don’t lose that game with Souttar and or Baht , Collins inexperience exposed but he will learn , what’s key is we are still in touch in January and most important Campbell injury isn’t a long job but that’s the biggest worry for me seeing how he knew as soon as he fell

How did we lose that game. Cardiff were so limited it was untrue and we've fallen to sucker goals. Absolutely woeful performance. Bad beyond words. Chester looked vulnerable all night, as in fact did Collins. Simple, we allowed Vokes to take the penalty. Had he scored Cardiff heads would have gone down and we cruised home. Instead it gave them a boost and the rest is history. What has Vokes actually done since we signed him? He disappeared for the remainder of the game, apparently Ince came on at some stage and did his invisible man again. Ince's invisible man looked like Roy Keane compared to Vokes.
