Fulham already had Anthony Knockerart Titus bramble still wobbling about? Maybe. Could go for a nice pair. Titus and Darren Wrack.

Although Sky immediately linking them with someone else! No probs. Butland to PSG then. Choupo is there, stranger things have happened

What a negative way of looking at it. If he doesn't go, the manager will have the kind of problem good managers like to have, choosing between an England international who in recent games has shown some 'green shoots' of returning to the outstanding form we know he is capable of, leading to him winning our player of the season in 18/19, and a keeper who was in the League 1 team of the season that same season and generally did very well when he came in at the end of last season ( although IMHO not quite the new Lev Yashin which some made him out to be). I expect Butland to leave, but if he doesn't, that would be good news in my book.

He doesn’t want to be here but no one wants him.
How do you solve that problem?

He'd rather be in the Premiership but his loss of form is down to him. If no-one wants him he has to resolve to rebuild with us.

Surely it's as much a problem for him as us.
Is he more attractive now when surely you could get him for £3-4m - or, next summer, after potentially another season on the bench?
Okay, he'll be a Bosman then - but will anyone take him after a season of inactivity and one further year away from the form that made him a name?
Will he have to reset next summer and just accept possibly getting a chance in the Championship on 10k-a-week? And will even that be on offer if we barely see him next season?
Seems mad that there's absolutely nothing out there for him if we're sensible in what we're asking.
If there's only Championship interest, you wonder if we would be open to the prospect of virtually giving him away at this point to enable the buyers to give him a decent deal?

Not at all, I’m absolutely fine with him staying, my preference would be for him to move on, for his sake rather than ours. A cash injection would have been welcome too, I still think he could turn his career around as there is a great keeper in there somewhere.

You can be fine with that or not - the reality is we can't get rid.

In the news earlier was that he was going to Arsenal Yeah - saw something about him being offered to Arsenal, but Fulham supposedly favourites. Not sure who's left out there as a potential Butland destination www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/fulham-ola-aina-kenny-tete-transfers-alphonse-areola-a4543471.htmlParker's side are also favourites to complete a deal for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola, who has also been offered to Arsenal should Emiliano Martinez be sold.
Should Parker bring in another, more experienced goalkeeper, it is thought Marcus Bettinelli, who started their last Premier League season as first choice before quickly falling down the pecking order, will join Middlesbrough on a season-long loan.

I guess it's more than possible we'll end up giving him away on a free if there's no takers towards the end of the window just to get him off the wage bill.

So yesterday I was talking to a guy in work, who is due to be god parent to Angus Gunn's child. Now he says that Angus is confident that a move to Stoke is due to be completed this window, with Butland going the other way. Apparently they both have the same agents, so he can't see any issues with the deal being completed. His wife/partner is wanting to move back to Alderley Edge where her family is (apparently she is from there), to be close to her family with their child. Now this is the bit I struggle with, Butland is happy to be 2nd choice apparently, but Angus only see's himself as 1st choice if dropping down a league. Would we drop Davis back down to 2nd choice, for the chance to move Jack on and bring Angus in? Watch this space is how the conversation ended..

I bet you've had that from someone else and embellished it a bit or the person that told you has done so Jack isn't keen on a move to Southampton. It's that simple.
