Do we think we will see Butland in a Stoke shirt again?. Don't think so myself. Davies has been a revelation in the games he's played.

I hope not.
Got to wonder why we never sold him when we were relegated.
It was the obvious thing to do.

Jack has had some memorable games in a Stoke shirt, but he's been on the wane over the past 2.5 years. He has had a dreadful season, partially down to form but it's also clear he has lost his motivation. It would be best for all concerned if he moved on next month.

Both the club and Jack Butland need to go their separate ways.
A very good keeper who's lost the plot over the past 3 seasons. He'll do well wherever he goes.
Davies looks worth the number 1 shirt at the moment.

But we should have been willing to sell at any cost really. He needed going for whatever decent money we could have got. And that time we could have got 10-15m.

He needs to go. For his sake and ours.
I was a massive fan of his back in the day, but he's simply a liability now.
Davies is good enough for the job. We then need a new number 2.

Regarding
Why didn't we sell him ? my understanding is two summers ago beswicks were his agents , and were unable to get him a move . In beswicks opinion , because no one wanted him . In butland's opinion because beswicks are a bit rubbish /not high profile enough
So butland separated from beswicks and got in a higher profile agent (either wayne Rooney s agent or the agent who secured Wayne Rooney s move to man utd , I forget which )
Anyway with his new high profile agent for last summer ...the same result as with beswicks ... nobody wanted him .

I honestly don't think Butland would have save that near full time equaliser.

I honestly don't think Butland would have save that near full time equaliser. I don't think he would've saved the header from the first chance they had. We've looked so much more confident with Davies.

I feel so sad for Jack. I had my career ended due to health problems. It's impossible to describe how difficult it is mentally. And I wasn't even an athlete whose top asset was my physical prowess.
I don't know what the answer is for Jack. I think it's a mental issue more than a physical issue at this point.
I wish him the best.

I dont think we will see Butland in a Stoke Shirt again. Adam Davies should be our No 1 for next season he is a good goalkeeper

If anyone will take over his contract I'd give him away.
Going from one of the best keepers we've ever had to now be one of the worst is quite a spectacular decline.

Think he just needs a fresh start. Obviously his head has been elsewhere for a while. After Leeds game he has been injured, conspiracy theory being, were words had at Leeds ie he's going there, don't play him so he stays injury free ????

Sometimes there is just no explanation for such a decline in form- the injury he suffered must have been a major factor. He completely lost the ability to come off his line to catch or clear the ball- the number of goals conceded to headers from inside or just outside the 6 yard box in our relegation season and since must be between 20 and 30? It’s sad, because there is no guarantee that he will ever recapture that form- Joe Hart is an example of how once you lose it, you don’t get it back. I hope that he gets a move both for his benefit and to generate some benefit under FFP but I doubt that he will have some major resurgence in form. It’s a real shame.

They will have a high profile, he will be cheap comparatively, there is a good keeper in there somewhere, he gets off our huge wage bill and if Leeds have a good season with him doing well he starts to be linked again with England. Seems like a win win for everyone. I just hope Leeds see through how shit he has been.

Hopefully Jack's stock in the game is still quite high. We could get some money with lots of add ons etc
Whatever he needs a move

Hopefully he goes sooner than ....... this season his schoolboy errors and own goals have been a major factor in our hemorrhaging points ..... that and the blind faith of both Managers in selecting him despite continuing rank performances ...... polish a turd and so on
