Unless they are paying his entire wages we should hang on to him. Doesn’t say loan though so if they want him they will have to pay, id say though any money we did get for him would be used to pay off the rest of his wages. So in essence a free

League one with a big club like Wednesday would absolutely suit him to the ground. He'd score a load of goals for them and fire them to promotion. Sheffield Wednesday would definitely suit him, I can't see him scoring a load of goals wherever he ends up though. He has a decent record in League One from his time at Millwall but that was when he was in his prime, he'll be 33 in August and he's more of a workhorse than a skillful player, he's definitely not a clinical finisher. I see no reason to keep him at Stoke, if MON had any faith in him he'd surely have kept him instead of loaning him to Derby, at a time when we were absolutely desperate for another option up front.

Unless they are paying his entire wages we should hang on to him. They absolutely won't be paying all his wages, he's on about £25k a week so 20% tops I would imagine. We should definitely get rid he's not very good and has no future at the club........ No way he is on £25k. More between £12k - £17K

All of Rowett's signings cam in earning 23-27k which is scary. In which case we'll get around 40% of his wage covered hopefully.....

Unless they are paying his entire wages we should hang on to him. Why? He’s not good enough for the Championship, no pace, not that good in the air, below average finisher. Just runs around a lot. Every penny less we have to pay him goes towards the wages of a better player. There is no case for keeping him

If we have to suffer him playing for Stoke again we are in real trouble.

Please, please, please...pretty please...let the links to Ipswich be true.
It might be difficult shifting him though because apparently he loves Derby.

Personally, he’d be the last I let leave out of Vokes/Afobe and him (assuming that people are actually interested in the other two). Obviously, if no one comes to get Vokes, then he has to go.
Ideally, all three are out on loans this year.

After Vokes and Ince, he's my least favourite current player. I can't abide the useless twat!

Good riddance to bad rubbish. A very poor signing, I'll be surprised if he makes any impact in League One tbh.

I have never been so confident about anything in all my life as the fact that we will draw Sheffield Wednesday in the cup this season and Lee Gregory will score against us.

Not sure but think EFL and FA have rules about that, both clubs could be in trouble if he wasn't allowed to play Whereas loan players aren't allowed to play
