So Hughes and Rowett spoke publicly about wanting those players I mentioned but it's okay for you to guess what goes on at boardroom as true hey, because of your superior knowledge I'm out! Apologies but I never heard them say anything about players they wanted, you might be right can you show me where they stated this ? Probably in news papers and local radio but it's pretty clear your on a wind up so crack on!

We should appoint a DOF then someone who could also carry out the role as a facilitator as that must take about three weeks a year. I’m sure a CEO has many other functions other than player acquisition but at least we have come full circle to the point that the one thing he ain’t is a football adviser to the manager and what he does do is whatever he can to fulfil the requirements of the man employed to bring success on the park. Hence our contract situation is what it is and heaping abuse on the bloke for this particular issue really is tilting at windmills. I see so he is doing a wonderful job giving long contracts to players who don't want to be here on massive money, all after carrying out the required due diligence and watching them 25 times, the shit situation is nothing at all to do with him the shit managers appointed are nothing to do with him he is a mere pawn doffing his cap to whatever our manager demands ........ yeh ok.

Well if it. makes you and others feel better having a rant about him I suppose he’s doing a job anyway. Let’s have nothing to do with logic hey - it’s boring.

Ah the two wrongs making a right argument As I said I wish some of the others had gone too Not really just comparing a player we have sent out on loan and one we bought they are both pretty poor tbf, though I would have preferred to have kept Gregory and not signed Brown as he is no better than the dross we have already accumulated another thrown on to the mounting pile of poor signings who we will struggle to move on.

How reliable is this source? Not John Percy-esque! But my feeling is they're not out-and-out bullshit merchants like most twitter transfer accounts

Havent Wednesday not been paying their players? Cant see this happening Yeah. I can't see how they could really take new players on when they're not paying the ones they've already got! Especially not ones who are due to be paid £1m+ next season. Even on a favourable deal, Gregory seems far too pricey for their chairman, who seems to have pretty much given up

While Gregory is a player that the Owls have considered in the past, it’s thought that a move to the Championship is more likely for Sheffield-born forward right now, with strong interest from England’s second tier as he draws closer to the final year of his deal in Stoke.

League one with a big club like Wednesday would absolutely suit him to the ground.
He'd score a load of goals for them and fire them to promotion.

How would they be able to afford Gregory? Well that's a different kettle of fish but knowing us we'd probably pay his entire wages and add a clause that if they get promoted we'd have to pay them 750k for the pleasure.

Unless they are paying his entire wages we should hang on to him. They absolutely won't be paying all his wages, he's on about £25k a week so 20% tops I would imagine. We should definitely get rid he's not very good and has no future at the club........
