24 years in North Staffs but not Stoke, one year in London, 21 years in Wiltshire, 13 years and counting in Canada (Kelowna BC).
Always followed The Potters. Had the pleasure of seeing them lose to Cardiff and Blackburn last month... must be mad...!!!

In fact neither of my kids have ever lived in N Staffs. And whilst both would consider themselves SCFC fans, I doubt either would have lasted 5 minutes in a school in Stoke.

I've said before but my dad was a United fan who tried to bring me up as such, got a lot of free tickets to Stoke games though as he worked for Brittania and Pulis' side is what got me into football.

I'm from Barcelona and I don't consider myself a true stoke supporter but I'll explain why I like Stoke City. Here in Spain Premier League became very popular when Liverpool had many spanish players, that was around 10 years ago. I was then in highschool and my friends chose an english club to support and it was always arsenal, man united, chelsea or Liverpool. Back then I loved Premier League and I remember one of the first Stoke games I watched was Stoke at home against Arsenal I think in the FA cup. I fucking loved Rory Delap throw in's, I think I started to watch Stoke only for that reason... then I loved how they played, it was totaly diferent to what I have ever seen in Spain, here the norm is to play tiki taka and I find it boring. I enjoyed watching Stoke (usually at home) bullying opponents teams and scoring only from throw ins, corners, and free kicks. I loved many players such as shawcross, huth, walters, Whelan, Delap just to name a few, yes probably they were average Premier League players but for me they were role models of what you can do if you work hard, especially Jon Walters I still have his shirt and I usually wear it proudly, so if you see a spanish lad in Barcelona wearing the Stoke City jersey is probably me ! Now I say Im not a true supporter because I don't regularly watch the games, but that comes from a disaffection with football in general I don't like what it has turned in to, if Im watching any match its only Stoke or any other local club from my area. So I still have affection for Stoke and if I ever go to England I'll go to the Britannia even if they get relegated to third division I don't care

All my family are from Stoke or Newcastle but I have never lived there. Closest I got was when I went to Staffordshire Uni in 1991 and lived in Stafford and went to most games throughout that time.

Well I have to say those first seasons with Mark HUghes didn't look bad... yes the style was more the kind of passing game but it had pace

I was born near to Sunderland. Father moved us all down to Staffordshire when the North East pits closed. Lived in Biddulph in the Staffordshire Moorlands. Now living in Doncaster and plan to move to Scotland or Northumberland this year. As a young lad Biddulph was a mishmash of lads supporting teams from all over the place, Stoke where the major team though in the town. Used to catch PMT footy special, now a member of Biddulph and Knypersley SCSC. Huge following every game these days from Biddulph. I decided to follow Stoke and the rest is history. Had some good times and sad times following Stoke, but it could be worse ???.

Live in Dublin started following Stoke after seeing Terry Conroy playing for Ireland.Iwent to my first match in late 70s (2 all in Old Ttafford). In the 80s and 90s it was ferry to Liverpool and train to Stoke and straight back after matches but last 20 years because of cheap flights I now stay a night and sample the delights of Hanley.

Born in Barnsley, live in Warrington. Glory hunter.
Caused confusion yesterday with my accent. Walked up from ground with a Stokie who assumed I was Huddersfield - fuck knows how he thought I knew so much about Stoke.
I played along though until as we went our separate ways I told him who I supported and how my dad is from Wolstanton.

Moved from Essex to Cheadle when I was five and attended my first game at The Vic in 1978. Been a Stoke fan since that day. Have lived in South Wales for the past 20 years.

I've never lived in Stoke but all my family are from North Staffs and we spent a lot of the holidays in Longton so I had to find something to do besides trying to get my cousins' 1970s moustache and flares look right. It was the Tony Waddington era so you could say I was a spoilt kid. I've paid for it since over the years, though.

Born in a small village called Hose in Leicestershire, about sixty miles away. My mate and I picked our teams at primary school, he picked forest I picked stoke, about forty five years ago. My dad used to take me to the old Victoria ground for my birthday every year. We also saw them at forest and notts county. Seen some great times and also some bad. I remember my dad taking me for my 11th (1979)birthday against Middlesbrough, it was 0-0. Loved every minute. Was a season ticket holder until three years ago, but work commitments changed that, work three out of every four Saturdays now. Still go when I can.

Never lived in Stoke. Born and raised in Newcastle-under-Lyme, then Biddulph in the Staffordshire Moorlands, which obviously isn’t Stoke because my posh sister in law says so. 😁

I was born in a wee village in Perthshire, but my family were mainly Brummies and so in 1969 at the tender age of 5, we moved back south, to Rugeley. When there, serendipity intervened by giving us neighbours from Stoke, with a son my age who became my mate and who always wore this magnificent red and white striped top. I fell in love with that top and so with the simple logic of childhood, Stoke became my team, no questions, no family connections, no silverware or bragging rights, just the simplest of decisions based on those sexy red and white lines... 50 years later, I often ask myself what the fuck I was thinking of, before quickly reminding myself just how fucking lucky I've been to support a team through so many years of frustration and pain... But what can we do, eh? When you fall in love with a footy team, you really are stuck with them for life

Born in Dublin, and have lived here all my life, though my county allegiance is to Co. Clare in the west of Ireland. It was the 4-3 win against the Hammers in '67 that suckered me in. Of course there have been lean times but, to keep us warm at night, we will always have the six-one'er against the Dippers, the five-nil'er against Bolton, not to mention all of those home games against the Arsenal, where they had to wear over-sized shorts to allow for the nappies they needed when playing against "the Orcs".
Funny though, how expectations always find their level; I got as much pleasure as anything out of the win on Boxing (St. Stephen's) Day, and the performance yesterday.
I love how McClean, through his willingness to walk-through-walls for the shirt, has won the respect, if not the affection, of many of you. I love how Michael O'Neill is calmly, methodically, piecing the team back together, against all the odds.
I'm sixty now, with a million duties and responsibilities to juggle daily. But nothing gets in the way of my passion. Stoke City 'til I die.
