I think Jones should fuck god off. I have never known a person have such an unlucky streak as Jones. Its not like we are making many mistakes, but it feels like every one hits the back of our net.
We just completely outplayed the team top of the league and lost. I hope he has 1 more chance against the team bottom to get a run going, i was gutted for him tonight.

Please do not get caught up in who made Luton Town ..it was not NJ.. He made a couple of good signings to a solid team.. s Oh believe me, I don't. It's become clear that Luton's recruitment and a solid assistant manager digging him out of a hole every game has made NJ look like the genius he isn't. This whole disaster has opened everyone's eyes to the fact that a manager's success is rarely ever because of 'just' the manager! Pity his new employers failed to see that !

No manager change sorts this unfortunately.
They just haven't got the defensive options to pick a good enough defence from.
As Jones said post match, you're in trouble if you have to score 3 or 4 goals a game at home to win at this level.

Yes they do...forget the diamond or the 532 531 bollocks...any manager coming in would buy a LB...only NJ fails to see this...Pieters should not have gone...

Pick a good enough back 4/5 from the players we currently have available (no shawcross either)

Just listen to him speaking after matches, or do you need a link to that too? I asked for a link to where NJ stated that it was God's destiny that we are in our present position.
Is that hard for you to understand? Are you an amateur lawyer or just some self righteous bellend? I said “He needs to go for his own good as well as ours, but he keeps banging on about how it’s all God’s Destiny or some shit” Meaning, his leaving our club is in god’s hands. I didn’t say anything about our “present position” being down to god - you added that bit yourself. There is no “link” because he was speaking after the match tonight and he said something along the lines of his “destiny was in the hands of the almighty” whether he lost his job or not. My quote may not be 100% accurate but I really don’t give one right now.

A friend of a friend is very close to stoke and he has said the players are divided from the new ones on less money than the ex premier players still on the big wages. He said that’s the problem and very easy to see.

There is no evidence of that last night. The players played as well as they could but the lack of confidence and the self doubt led to errors. For half a match we were better than the team sitting top of the Championship this morning, then Butland and Edwards made mistakes.

I am in shock this morning, fully expected to wake up to the news he had been dismissed.
How can he still be in the job, we set another negative record last night, no comment on him personally but he has been truly woeful since day one & i cant think of a decision he has made which has improved things on the pitch. I am sick of hearing what a wonderful place it is to work & how amazing that work is, it clearly isnt, no manager anywhere would survive with half of NJ's record, let alone the 35 games of total non progressive, point surrendering dross.
How is he still in charge?

They’ll never employ a manager who says how it is because they’re too worried about him saying what a shambles it is behind the scenes. I’ll bet Rowett is very happy because he’s now looking like a half decent manager. I’m convinced that this is far bigger than just having a bad manager.

I dont know the full route of the problems or issues cobs but no matter what angle you come at this from we have got the first ever group of footballers in the history of the game who cant even accidentally pick up one result in 170 odd days? I like Nath as a guy i really do but he has done nothing but spout bullshit & somehow make the team worse since he arrived ( he has been backed with 12 signings, which we are assured are his own). Whatever other issues we have there is no way we shouldn't be looking for a new gaffer this morning.

He may be one of the best coaches but when he takes a midfielder off and puts a centre half on causing complete chaos to every other players role when you have a midfielder in duffy sat on the bench makes you question some of his tactical decisions.

Sadly although I think Jones will be a very successful manager he has to go just to break this vicious circle we are in. Unfortunately I just wonder whether the players will play any differently for any other manager. He doesn't tell them to make the strange decisions they make or to hit the first man with their crosses so why would things change with a different manager. As for bringing on a centre half for a midfield player what would you have done? Badou who protects the defence with his reading of the game tackling and speed was injured. The only midfield replacement was Cousins. Really you wanted him on the field?

Interesting article when he was appointed at Luton www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jan/06/luton-town-manager-nathan-jones-manager-brightonBoth Chris Hughton and Gareth Southgate noting his potential Maybe this opportunity has come too soon for him with such high expectations Pity he can't work as an assistant to Hughton and continue his development here A very tough task for whoever inherits this set of players, low on morale and unsettled in when and where they feature in our starting 11

Genuinely, I think without the Butland fuck up against QPR setting the tone, we may be a completely different side at this point results wise. He's made mistakes, but I think his potential is still visible.
