I thought he came across like someone who thought that doing a 1 hour radio show was beneath them.
He wasn't particularly arsey but was very matter of fact, no humour or personality in there at all.
Gets very defensive if he doesn't like the question.
My gut feeling is that if things don't go to plan he'll have a total meltdown.

The bit at the end “we don’t expect to score penalties”. Just not what I want the manager saying however truthful tbh! If Harry Rednapp had said it, it would be taken in the context as it was meant........A joke. The first bit is a joke, as I've said but the last bit is the realisation of a man that actually believes we can't score a penalty.

He's bubbling quietly under I would say, it wouldn't take much for copious quantities of steam to start coming out of his ears, he really needs some wins early doors. Not performances, wins, 'maximum points' as dear old Sparky would call it. There is no time to be mulling over performances like we are sampling fine wines, it's momentum we need, it really doesn't matter how we do it but we need to win some football matches.

I think Lee Blakeman's role was to take some blunt audience questions and present them to Nathan in such a way he didn't blow his top. Nathan is bristling with suppressed indignation most of the way through as it is. Think you hit the nail on the head there and it’s a bit worrying. He sounds like a man feeling the pressure and lacking the early confidence and conviction. Fingers crossed for a good start! Why is he feeling the pressure? According to some he's undertaking a complete rebuild and should be given slack. The facts are he IS under pressure to deliver a promotion push, which he surely must or he will be on his way. He's probably realising that the squad he has built is a million miles from promotion.
