No it doesn’t. There have now been a succession of professional managers, coaches, fitness experts etc. that have not prescribed to the “Bojan must play” theory. My opinion is not about the individual (give me a Bojan over Berahino 100% of the time), it’s about a reality and not about clutching at straws scenarios where we find ourselves at the moment. Why cant the coaching staff see what you believe? Why is he still a big part of the plan according to Jones? If your opinion is correct why did we knock back a decent offer in January? I could go on and no questions argue his abilities Like I said I'm baffled with the decision making Do you honestly believe that Bojan will be leading our charge next season? If so I believe your misguided. If he is here next season anD completes 23 games I’ll donate £50 to the Dougie Mac. Mark this post. Will wager the same?

Let’s get to the nitty gritty Bojan seems to be a really nice guy and what we see/hear is “professional” in all he does in football related matters. Now it’s TIN HAT time IMHO Bojan is a “nearly man” in terms of professional football at a decent level. Without doubt he has all the attributes of a gifted technical player, especially at our level. However his career was interrupted with a serious injury which has seen many others players in the same position. Some have fully recovered, others haven’t He is not up to the weekly rigours of the Championship nor the EPL. As a club if our ambition is a return to the EPL, we cannot carry passengers. That may sound harsh but I believe those with a sensible/pragmatic view will understand the sentiment behind the comment. The Bojan, Bojan chants during a game are unjustified and to be quite honest embarrassing. They certainly are not conducive to supporting either the manager nor players on the pitch, or in the dug out. Shouldnt we graciously let go? If Bojan were to become an indespensable member of a successful team which saw us retrurn to the EPL there would be no body happier than me. I just can’t see it. Please, Please don’t anyone reply “he needs games” just like Joselou and Berahino Of course he needs games! He came on at Rotherham, changed the game and scored an equaliser. Then played well in the home win against Bolton, and Rowett dropped him. He played 70 minutes at Hull and was the most creative player on the pitch. Ince replaced him and we disappeared from the game. Jones then dropped him. He is probably the only player who has put in some good performances and then been dropped, and never once been given a run of games by either manager. Your statement that “Bojan is a nearly man in terms of football at a decent level” is a bit surreal. Two Champions League medals Three La Liga medals By age 20 he had scored 41 goals in 163 appearances for the best team in the world, playing alongside Messi, and at times keeping Thierry Henri and Ibrahimovic on the bench. I don’t think we will be seeing too many more “nearly men” at Stoke City in the near future. I know some will say those achievements were some years ago, but they go a long way towards explaining the Bojan chants, and why many people are so intrigued by the very rare and unusual situation of having a player of this pedigree at a club like Stoke City, and why they do not want to lose him, without finding out once and for all if he still has some magic in his boots. We saw his class pre injury. We saw it again after his injury for a time, during the Stokalona period. He is still only 28, and the Roy of the Rovers dreamer in a lot of long suffering Stoke fans including me, seems to demand that he should have a run of games to see if he can still do it for us. Once he’s had that chance if it didn’t work out then I think people would be prepared to let him go with thanks for some great memories and move on. The rest of this season with nothing at stake is the perfect time. I think he deserves that chance. He has always showed that he loves playing for the Stoke fans, and he plays with a smile on his face. Personally I would love nothing more than to see him get a few more of his classy goals for us before he heads off into the sunset. Come on Nathan. Over to you. You know it makes sense!

I think Jones is a liar and his latest words mean nothing. He is just saying them because he doesn't want to get the same outcome that Rowett got.

Hopefully Bojan moves on in the summer as part of a much needed clear out and the club can finally start to move in the right direction again.

Bojan will start tomorrow 😉 Let’s hope he actually contributes something then. And if he doesn't assist/score, do we just bin him off again? Why is the same logic not applied to Messrs Ince, McClean, Afobe etc? He is undoubtedly the most naturally gifted player at the club, if he's given a succession of games we can either move on, knowing he was given every opportunity - or we will have a great player and talisman on our hands...

After today's match maybe Bojan is one step closer to having a run out.
I agree with the post about the Rotherham match when Bojan came on and saved Rowett's bacon that day, but then got dropped.
The 60 minutes he was on against Hull I thought he was our best player and the only real threat we had against Hull. But he was pulled off after the hour and Hull immediately went and scored their second goal. Nevertheless Bojan has not been picked to start since.
Please Mr Jones give the guy a run out for a few games like Ince, Afobe, McClean have all had. Ince and Afobe look like they are totally disinterested and McClean has not skill. Surely Bojan is worth a proper trial for a few games?

The Bojan situation is utterly and truly bewildering, I just genuinely feel sorry for the lad. Having to watch shit journeymen footballers play ahead of you in the second tier of English football is disgraceful.

Rowett and Jones are an outright disgrace. Why on earth are they not playing him considering the utter shite served up by their signings? Its like they don’t even want to be successful.

I'm pissed that he isn't playing, but it's clear NJ wants a 433 at the minute to get results. I don't agree with it, but I still think he has Bojan in his plans medium to long term.

Either play him or get him gone and stop leaving an anti-management totem for whomever to dance around.
It’s not fair to him and it’s a yoke around the neck of the new team if he doesn’t get a game.

Well Jonesy let me tell you something, they do know and have seen for themselves what a class player looks like, and they see absolutely that Bojan would improve your hapless bunch and create and score a few goals, so stop being so stupidly stubborn and give him a good run, or go yourself. You are doing yourself no favours in the eyes of most fans (with a few gormless exceptions) so get it on versus Forest (where he ran midfield at The City Ground by the way).

One of those two is a cold blooded liar...
