The latest I don't remember, could have been The Stranglers?
The last? Who knows.

My last one was a real lip buster. One of those "Prom Nights". I slept the clock round after that one. Totally exhausted.
My next is a full dress ceremonial uniform one - so if it is cold and raining, everything will be ok. If it is a hot sunny day ......
After that a small band job at a funeral. These gigs are quite difficult because with live music, things can, and often do go wrong. They cannot go wrong at a funeral.
After that - a full calendar of events until next year.

Mumford and sons at the MEN last night, they were excellent, really enjoyed it, cracking gig, still not sure about the support band, wish I'd stayed in the pub for longer and swerved that bit personally but my sister and her daughter were less keen on that idea

So yeah i went to the Etihad last night. For the Simulation Theory World Tour MUSE. I count i think 9 times ive seen Muse live. Last night was absolutely spectacular. The Songs the Show. The stage things that they have going on are amazing. Im a big MUSE fan ever since a kid when someone said here listen to this its called Origin Of Symmetry. Then i was hooked. Several albums later they just continue imo to perform at the highest level.
Matt Bellamy is right up there as a front man.
Supported by Tom Morello who was brilliant aswell.
Waiting for the first MUSE are shit comment 😜

I'd be expecting a visit from social services in the not too distant... 😉

Incidentally, are all Mumford & Sons songs about Jesus and veganism or does it just sound that way?

Chance to show how cool or uncool you are by sharing your last live music experience. Last Friday in my case, I took a punt on a Canadian band I'd heard about off a friend. It was at a venue in Manchester called 'Pink' and yes it was very pink as it happens. Only around 60 folk there and despite being spoilt a tad by a baseball capped sound engineer with a penchant for overdriven sub woofers, the band were brilliant and I'd deffo go and see them again. My last gig was a karaoki number in the Pub. I played safe with Daydream Believer because you don't need much vocal range to do it.

Not a big concert goer but Stiff Little Fingers in Kentish Town
Previous to that was Madonna in Dallas but complimentary tickets and free bar from American Airlines. Not my cup of tea but good night out

Incidentally, are all Mumford & Sons songs about Jesus and veganism or does it just sound that way? He has a very wide and varied taste in music, his older brothers is even more diverse, older brother had seen them at a festival and really rated them, neither of them would buy their albums and I doubt my youngest would've gone if he'd have had to buy his own ticket but we've all enjoyed watching them live. If it sounds that way to you then that's the way it is I suppose

Saw Stray Cats in Brum last night, Academy is a shitty venue, poor sound and pillars obscure view, ironically the support band had Better so7nd than the Cats. The latter were very good albeit a short ish set, 90 mins max, and vocals were quiet. Enjoyed but not the killer night out I was anticipating
