Three game ban after admitting the charge. Well deserved.

It does actually you don't have to walk away turning your back on an aggressor is a risk as is moving in a direction that you're not looking. You are not required to do so believe me I've put it to the test. In Sweden there is a law saying you must get away from the attacker at least 100 meters, but then you can defend yourself. Eh? What if the attacker can run faster than you? So you can never defend yourself? Makes no sense ![8-|](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/rY_vRFLA3mqqdMbEG4cF.gif)

One good thing to come out of this , it's stopped people moaning on this board about Joe Allen
He's like Roy Keene compared to imbula

Three game ban after admitting the charge. Well deserved. I disagree. 3 game ban for that is ridiculous. The FA want to sit and watch some 70s football on youtube. Stuff like that happened every 20 minutes. I'm not saying that is OK but we've gone from one extreme to the other.

Stuff like that happened every 20 minutes. I'm not saying that is OK but we've gone from one extreme to the other. A lot of things have changed since the 70s - both within the game and in the wider world. Some of the changes I welcome and some I don't. A ban for that sort of conduct on a football pitch is one of the things I approve of and I reckon I am in the majority in holding that view. Digging your thumbs into a player's face is disgraceful behaviour - it seems that Deeney is still at heart the same player who has served time in jail for violence.

As you no doubt know, there is a big debate and trials about extending the use of video technology. I agree that when the game is already stopped for that kind of incident, it should be used. But like all such major changes, they don't come quickly and have to be agreed internationally. It wouldn't be the 4th official but in the trials has been a new video official sitting in the stand, as it is in cricket and rugby. Can you imagine the 4th official trying to look at it surrounded by the benches. Nightmare. Malcolm, If it needs to be agreed internationally how come Germany are using it this season, are they trialling it? Most probably - there are various trials going on. I'm not sure where they all are.

What if every player just carried a pistol on the hip? It can be easily justified under the Second Amendment to the US Constitution. I am surprised the MLS didn’t introduce it some time ago. It would certainly liven things up a bit.

@watfordfocus on twitter is claiming that Shawcross headbutted Deeney and should be charged; looking at it again there is a slight coming together and Ryan's head does ever so slightly move forward, but thankfully nothing has been said in the media (has it)

I noticed on the BBC interview Sparky was saying that Jo Allen had thumb marks on his face and suggesting it is something the authorities should look in to. With so many pictures floating around the media of Ryan plonking his head in Deeney's face right now I would think we would want this one to just drift quietly away, an enquiry is the last thing either side need I would suggest. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I'm not sure why Sparky chose to say in his post match prezzer that the incident should be looked in to, not when we are not squeaky clean ourselves, we have nothing to gain by Deeney's ban anyway, we needed this to just go away and it hasn't!

Deeney is a pub footballer, a fat fucking thug who’s on about the same level as Marlon King for being a cunt.
I’ve never liked him and I dislike him even more now, Crouchy is a tall bloke with great technical ability, Andy Carroll is a monster in the air, Salomon Rondon has the strength of a thousand golems, Deeney is just a rotund, gobby twat.

Bowie knives on the hip is the only solution. That would liven things up. 100 meters? Hell why ruin your stamina only to become a tired victim. Swedes I tell ya. You fancy IKEA pushers need a bit more frontier back in your thinking less weak wristed urban hipster think tanking.
