I'm sorry but I dont think he's shit at all based on what Ive seen.
He's hardly been given a chance this season but he's looked decent whenever he's come on. I'm not saying he's been brilliant but it doesn't seem right to write him off.
If most people had their way on here Wimmer would be on loan at the Vale by now.

Agreed If Hughes is going to stick with Mame at RWB then he needs to persevere with Bera up top, Choppo aint the answer.

I kind of think he's a bit crap.... and I didn't write off Brek Shea. Perhaps an indication I know fuck all but I just can't see the positives that others seem to see in Berahino

Everybody (except Hughes it seems) can see that Choupo or Jese aren't ever going to lead the line for us successfully, Crouch isn't a 90 minute man, Hughes is wedded to 3 at the back and Diouf is the only right wing back at the club, Berahino should be starting even if it's only by default, it's incredible that he's not getting any starts.
He needs to start (at least) the next six games and we need to try and play to his strengths. If it still isn't working after that run, then off to the Championship he goes on loan in January, whilst we bring in either a proper wing back so Diouf can play up top, or heaven forbid a proper striker rather than another punt in the dark.

Yeh, lumping it long will always work eventually, its a weak argument, its not as if they are smashing them in left right and centre, this season or last. You're going to some absolutely extraordinary lengths to defend a player who hasn't scored since David Cameron was Prime Minister and Brexit was a 12/1 longshot at the bookies! I just think he's been unfairly judged by some when its not all down to him.
