That’s funny. The American people deserve better but like us they’re left with the option of the lesser of 2 evils.

Looks like the president of Ukraine has been in Pennsylvania on the campaign trail for Harris. That definitely wouldn't qualify as foreign election interference though right guys? 😂 Given his country is at war and Trump has said he would stop Supporting Ukraine then I don't think he gives a fuck. His country is on the line from the result of the US election and many Ukrainians will die if Trump wins Disagree with the idea that more war = less death but I think it's bad form from the Harris campaign rather than for Zelensky. From his side, I can understand it, but it's risky. There's a reason that Bibi doesn't go around swing states campaigning for Trump

Lucky then that there are still plenty of MAGA's about ... In the unlikely event that Trump ever rode a pushbike, it'd definitely be a Rally Grifter.

That’s funny. The American people deserve better but like us they’re left with the option of the lesser of 2 evils. The US has regularly had that choice and loads of voters decide "I won't reward someone being better because I don't think they're perfect, may as well not vote/vote third party/vote for the biggest evil". I see politicians as salesmen who push what sells. There is very little reward for being "better", so why bother? Why not just be worse? Voters' choices led us here. It reminds me a bit of Ralph Nader who talked about wanting to protect the environment. If his voters had held their nose and voted for Al Gore instead then we would have had US action on climate and almost certainly would have avoided the Iraq war. The world would be totally different and better.

Kamala Harris says she wants to expand Medicare's rights to negotiate drug prices. Republicans originally made it illegal and forced the government to pay what drugs companies tell them. Democrats' 2022 Inflation Reduction Act allowed some negotiations and the first round of new deals are expected to save $7.5bn next year, there should be more deals and savings announced.
Harris plan: make it legal for more negotiations. This will save Americans money and reduce the deficit, but at the cost of the profits of major drugs companies.
Trump plan: Trump has no plan but republicans will make it illegal for the government to negotiate. This will increase the deficit and force taxpayers and patients to hand over whatever corporations demand.

Its quite hard to predict who’s going to win this election, Americans must be sick of the sight of Trump but on the flip side, Harris is unbearable! Her voice grates and she doesn’t appear to be a very deep political thinker at all, just a very unimpressive person and the more Americans see of her, the less they’ll like her!

The man is a crook and a complete idiot.

Why would Ameicans want a Psycho in charge of their Country? Good question. Although we live in a glass house, we've had 14 years of con men psychos and now appear to have put another total wrong un in the hot seat. Banning outdoor smoking, hates old people and seemingly gets paid a separate salary by some rich fella and lies about it. Just don't feel we're in a position to mock the yanks right now really. I'd say at least we're not daft enough to have a trump as prime minister but then we did have the court jester Boris. Politics really is in a poor state when you look at the main players kicking about in our country right now. I reckon between us on the oatcake we'd get a better team together. Badger is my pick for PM or Elystokie cos he'd legalise the Mary Jane 😆

The equivalence you are implying just isn't there. Eddie the Eagle might have been a shit ski jumper but it's a bit like saying it's a toss up between him and Eddie Large in a two horse ski jump competition.

Can any of our trump sympathisers explain what he actually did while President that was good and wouldn't have been done by anyone else who was there?
Like "he didn't shit himself on stage" or "he signed bipartisan laws" are not a special Trump thing, anyone would have done it.
What laws or deals did he actually do and push for that wouldn't have happened anyway, and how and why were they good?
The only thing I can think of is arguably tariffs on China. I read quite a few laws and federal commission decisions but it sounds like I missed really obvious stuff based on his support?

I’m not disputing that he often says daft things but he never actually advocated drinking bleach to cure covid! He said inject a disinfectant and then a reporter asked him if they should use bleach (obviously trying to goad him into saying yes) Trump replied by saying no, only to clean the area where covid is detected. By “disinfectant” he just meant a vaccine to kill the infection, it’s just the way he talks.

By “disinfectant” he just meant a vaccine to kill the infection, it’s just the way he talks. Fair enough it was disinfectant. And he never claimed he meant anything other than disinfectant - as the video points out he said he was being sarcastic when it was pointed out that what he said was reckless and stupid. He got the idea of using disinfectant because the idea was knocking around on conspiracy theory websites at the time. People believed it and some people actually tried it.

The tax cuts that gave a few sops to normal folk but blasted open the deficit at exactly the wrong time, and also codified permanent tax cuts for the richest people funded by tax increases for lower income people. He overturned women's basic rights to medical care. He ordered a mass child abuse campaign through family separation. He tried to strip health insurance from 17 million poorer people. He worked to fuck over our climate for the future. He installed corrupt fuckers at the FCC and other commissions to fist normal people in favour of corporate masters. He encouraged war crimes verbally, with presidential pardons, and by changing the rules of engagement for airstrikes. He was the most pro-corruption president in memory by running businesses from the white house, installing his family business people in government and hiding his tax returns. He tried to overthrow US democracy end replace it with his dictatorship. So he did a lot but I want to hear what he did that was good.
